I used to love Sbarro. I mean, I really loved it. It was my go-to spot for a quick and easy slice of pizza. But lately, something's changed. The pizza just isn't as good as it used to be. The crust is too doughy, the sauce is too sweet, and the cheese is just... bleh.
I know what you're thinking: "Sbarro never was good." And you're right. It wasn't ever great pizza. But it was serviceable. It was something you could eat when you were in a hurry and didn't feel like cooking. But now, it's not even that. It's just... bad.
I'm not sure what happened. Maybe they changed their recipe. Maybe they're using cheaper ingredients. I don't know. But whatever it is, it's not good.
I'm not the only one who thinks this. I've seen other people complaining about the quality of Sbarro's pizza lately. And even Michael Scott, the fictional character from The Office, would be ashamed. In one episode, he goes to New York City and tries Sbarro pizza for the first time. He's so disappointed that he says, "I thought New York pizza was supposed to be good."
So, if you're looking for a good slice of pizza, I suggest you go somewhere else. Sbarro is no longer the...
Read moreOK food, rude staff. This restaurant is inside of the food court of Santa Monica Place. The food was OK when it comes to the quality and price. However, some staffs who were serving the pizza and pasta, were really cold and rude. For example, there was a man who was serving the pizza first. He didn't smile or show any warm face to customers, but rather stiff and cold. The second woman who was serving the pasta and meat ball, was even worse. She put two slices of pizza in a plate right in front of me. When I told her that I didn't order pizza, she looked at me and got angry:" I didn't say, those pizza are for you!" She had a very rude and unprofessional attitude, as if she was ready to fight on the street. I didn't want to feed into her bad attitude, so I didn't say anything. I have to remind those workers who were hired by Sbarro: they are paid to serve customers, not to fight with customers. If this service job is not for them, then they can resign, but not to stay and to continue to destroy the good...

Grab a bag of Doritos or Lays for around $2.50 We got a slice of cheese pizza and a large cup of lemonade for $11. The cheese on the cheese flavor has beautiful cheesy notes to it, it’s a step above your typical mozzarella cheese. The dough is made fresh at the shop daily.
