Sammy's on the Island — Restaurant in Santa Rosa Island

It's been about 3+ years since I've been here, and I'd always remembered it as the best in the panhandle. Time has not been kind to this establishment. While it's still advertised as upscale, a category in which it was once well placed, it now boasts absolutely nothing special or unique. The girls are rude, arrogant, and hardly work for their money. I actually heard one complaining about how little she was making to the hostess, then proceeded on stage where the crowd made it rain 4 times. She walked away with over $40 for two songs and never once even stripped. The atmosphere is, for lack of a better term, ghetto. The clientele are shady. It's crowded. Servers and employees are rude. The bouncers walk around with the attitude of secret service agents. And projectors now display leftist and anti-Republican propaganda, as well as MSNBC news, on the wall above the stage! Finally, it's way overpriced for the quality (or lack thereof). Dances are expensive and NOT private. ATM charges criminal service fees. And drinks are poorly made and served. I have been to a lot of clubs all over the US, but this is now in my top 3!II took an Uber from Aj's to Sammy's and was really pleased. Only 6.00 to get in and the club was clean, much bigger than you would think, and very comfortable. ( not smoky at all!) I was there this Friday so it was really busy, There were three stages , idk how many dancers because I lost track but fell in love with two of them! lol I sat with a girl named Mandy, who was blond, sweet, beautiful, and as nice a person as I have ever met! But it seemed like all the dancers were funny and nice, NOT the aggressive "jaded strippers" you find so often in lower end clubs. Well, I dont know what kind of gentlemen's club you guys are running. First! My hands got so sticky from being on the floor. Then! The child care sevices was terrible I hade to watch my 5 year old for the first 3 hours! After I complained to management and got no where I just put him down for a nap in the VIP lounge. It was at this point I was thinking BRING OUT THE GIRLS!!!! But what I saw horrified me, even still to this day. These werent women these were string beans. Thes were soggy paper noodles covered in baby oil! Thats not what I come fer. Yah need some big ole gurls. Some Flabby gabbies, some two ton tinas, some real heifers. Im talking 280s 300s minimum!!!!!!!! Would not recommend taking your sister out on a first date...
