Got sat quickly but afterwards felt like we had been forgotten about after being handed the menus for drinks. Waited 10 mins before being seen about drinks, after we got our drinks after 5, we ordered and waited a total of 20 mins for everything which we never even got to eat because someone from our table had to leave and we were also getting impatient. Total mins sat waiting, 35
Ended up just paying for our drinks and leaving. As we were leaving, we were informed about the food being ready to go out, but we were simply tired and the AC wasn't working or wasn't on so the majority of our party was overheated and getting frustrated which we didn't want to take out on anyone.
I was disappointed because I know this place just opened but wait time was piling up. The menu was also simply too much which might overflow the kitchen which is why things were too slow. Most egregious was having no communication about updates about food taking a while. Quite sad as someone who works in retail.
Drinks weren't much to write home about, regular horchata, mocha iced coffee and a jarritos, everything you'd expect from a mexican joint.
Other than that, needs...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really wanted to like Ahuevo, but our experience left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, it wasnāt very busy, so we expected a reasonable wait timeābut we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food. By the time it finally came out, my kidsā meals were cold to the touch, like they had been sitting out for quite a while.
We ordered two milkshakes, one orange juice, a ham and egg scramble, a kids breakfast (which came with four tiny pancakes, one strip of bacon, and one egg), and a poblano scramble that was around $20. When the bill came, it totaled $100. We werenāt necessarily shocked by the high pricesābecause we understand what comes with trendy spotsābut $15 per milkshake and $9 for a small orange juice felt excessive for what we got. Especially considering the food didnāt come out hot or fresh.
I donāt mind paying premium prices for good food and service, but this just wasnāt worth it. Unfortunately, it didnāt live...
Ā Ā Ā Read morethe restaurant looks great but too much formality to sit down when you see unoccupied tables, there were many waiters to serve but no one ever approached to see if anything was needed, a lot of time to bring a drink, and not to mention that it took more than 38 minutes to find out that my meal was next ā¹ļø and then they only offer a menu to be breakfast until 3 in the afternoon they change the menu it is illogical since it was too hot to order pancakes or chilaquiles or broth 𫤠what's wrong with them ??? but if you order an alcoholic drink there is one, despite the wait there is no complimentary snack or anything to calm your hunger ... so if you are hungry this is not it. In the end I left since more than 40 minutes is too much. I clarify that we could not taste the flavor of the food because it...
