Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

We ate here recently and were really disappointed. Our server was cute and charming, very likable, and I think he depended on that because we did not see much of him. We ordered pretzels with cheese dip and there was very little cheese dip. When I asked for more, I was informed that we could not have more because they would have to ring it up- not charge us, but ring it up (um, no you don’t- just put some more in the bowl like you should have before you brought it out). We finished our appetizer long before the server even came back to take the rest of our order. I ordered mac’n’cheese as a side- a side which cost an extra $1.29 because it was a “premium side” or something like that, and it arrived nearly dry, almost no cheese sauce on it. After the pretzel and cheese dip incident I didn’t dare ask for them to fix it and obviously they wouldn’t have anyway, if our waiter would have come by any time soon. It’s one thing to be slow or make a mistake but to refuse to fix something that is your fault and lousy service and MORE bad food on top of it? I don’t recommend this location. We certainly...

The sadness is a brand Name chain serves bad food food and what I mean abut bad food its ....spoiled chicken I was in the area for a buisness trip and had waiting time between my meetings However I ordred the grilled shrimp and chicken with roasted potatoes After first bite I had the shrimp and then a bite of chicken I could taste the chicken was bad and spitting it out in my napkin as a chef I know the taste of chicken and what fresh taste like I asked th waiter to taste and smell the chicken and his response was the same I asked for the manger name COREY and not a manger his waiter stood up and tried to do damage control but as the front line services staff do not have control in the food where was the Chef not checking the Mis en place and 2here was Corey the manger not follow up with the guest and his manager was hiding in the back not to be found i as I expected As a name brand restaurant group in the states and Asia I have never experienced a such low service recovery for guest in the establishment such as APPLEBEES GRILL AND BAR Shame on you serving spoiled food...

I've been to the Applebee's on Santa Rosa Ave many times, I have always loved the service there which is why I always go back. Its our go to. But today I had the worst experience with the new manager there. The service we received from him made me not want to go back to this particular Applebee's. He was rude, didn't bring out what we asked for, kept us waiting, it was just a horrible experience.our server though was great and we wish he would have been able to host us during the time we were there but he was doing his best to tend to everyone. The manager was really no help! We will be driving to Windsor or RP instead! The funniest part was when I ordered my drink and showed him my ID he said he couldn't accept it because it was expired, I should showed him proof from the DMV that I had already ordered it i was just waiting on it to be sent to me, but he didn't care he was very rude about it.
