Did you ever read the book the emperor has no clothes? If you have you will understand my review. The food and drink are outstanding the service is a forced politeness. And the atmosphere is wonderful if you are Hispanic. My parents migrated here during ww2 and I am a first generation American and my skin happens to be whiter than normal. Dad was an Icelander. Mum was Serbian but I got more of dad's traits. Now I'm pretty in tune with my surroundings and the atmosphere. Which began the moment I arrived. I could feel the disdain boring into me. And I speak Spanish fluently. Alot of the remarks where rude, racist, hurtful and just plain crude. I don't have a hateful bone in my body. But something has to change otherwise I fear we may repeat what my parents fled from in the early 1940's. Where 6 million Jewish people were massacred. A lot of which were illegal immigrants in Germany. Unfortunately we are a virus and we won't stop until we kill off...
Read moreI went to Mitote te food park for the first time to celebrate that North Bay Builders Exchange 70th anniversary. I had the time on my life. There so much mexican food available. While I was there, my hairstylie showed up to celebrate her father's birthday. I was able to meet her fiance for the first time. Good guy. After that, other friends showed up in a totally different group. They were there for Tuesday Taco Bike Ride. They are kid friendly. They meet their every Tuesday, weather provided. Throw some decorative lights on your bike and join the ride. I had such a ball that I'm going to go every single Tuesday. You can check out their organization on Facebook. They are called the North Bay Kruzers. There were over 100 bicycles. It was incredible. No hassles, no problems, no jerks! Just super good people having a...
Read moreEdit: The food park has moved to a new location, with a quieter (at least when I was there) vibe. Super nice folks and very good food! Try the new location! Hunker down and enjoy, in stunned silence, some truly excellent food as literally ear-splitting Ranchero tunes blare from a single, very strong speaker. Waiting and looking over at another family sitting together in silence, unable to speak over the din, having one of the best cocktails of my life, I’m really at a loss here, (hearing loss) as all the food is SO GOOD, and every vendor just nice as can be, but the volume is off the decibel charts. Dial it down just a tad, maybe? I’ll be back for the amazing...
