All things considered, we were disappointed on this visit to this retailer. We arrived at approximately 5:00pm, only to find out that of the many many different flavors they offer the public, there were only TWO FLAVORS of cakes available. If the doors are open to the public, shouldn't there be more than two obscure flavors? (Red Velvet & Confetti) Furthermore, this location added insult to injury by suggesting we wait an additional 20 to 30 minutes for any flavor we chose, could be prepared. The employees were pleasant, charming and professional. This was clearly NOT THEIR FAULT. But more the failure of leadership to address the needs of the public. Again, if the doors are open, at least provide one third of the best selling flavors. (Vanilla and lemon were not in the oven) While its not the end of the world, and not my last visit to This location, IT IS a severe disappointment. No one even bothered to apologize for the lack of forethought on the availability of product; or the...
Read moreOkay so I was told these cakes are the most moist delicious cakes you've ever had! So I go in to get a free one for my birthday and it truly was the most moist delicious cake ever! Which was great because my husband bought me a 40$ birthday cake for that following weekend! Well when we got it let's just say it was tiny! But I reassured him it is so good and worth the 40$! I honestly dont know what happened because my 40$ cake was so dry I didnt even eat it :( they also got the colors completely wrong for the bow on top (not a huge deal but still a bummer because it didnt match the party :/) I dont think I'll ever order from here again it's not worth the 40$ of dry cake :( I will be back for my free birthday cake seeing as that one was good. But spending money for dry cake? No thank you! Never again. Hopefully no one else had to deal with dry cake on...
Read moreIf I pay $48 for a cake, I would like to see it before I leave the store!
When I ordered the cake over the weekend, I noticed the clerk was showing each of the customers their cake before they left. But today, the clerk plopped a cake on the counter and said "here's your cake." I said "can I see it" she said "sure," But offered no assistance. In fact, she walked away. When I tried to open it from the top she said no it's taped on the bottom and plopped it back down on the counter and walked away again. Ugh!!
I don't have a knife to open the tape on the bottom. Now im mad, but in a hurry, so i just leave.
If I pay $40 for a cake it sure would be nice if you show it to me before I leave. I will not be back. I will not recommend you. If the birthday girl asks where I got the cake I'll tell...
