Dunkin' — Restaurant in Sarasota

We placed an online order. My husband went to pick it up. Only 2 cars in drive thru (1 vehicle and ours). 1 vehicle was at the speaker deciding. My husband pulled around the car to proceed to the pickup window and was immediately scolded my the employee. He told her he was only picking up. She refused to give him the order and demanded for my (disabled) husband to come inside and get it. He came home and told me. I drove back up there and asked for the manager. She explained the scenario and I asked why he was asked to come inside. UP TO NOW SHE CAN’T explain to me why. She was combative. I was clearly NOT happy but I refused to argue. I requested a refund. She (Then) offered me that cold order. I told her that I was at work and did not have the time for this whole terrible experience. I received my refund and reminded her that no one apologized for our inconvenience and I told her the customer service is terrible and then I went across the street to Starbucks and received stellar customer service. I actually wish that this was a lie. They really need to do better because I like Dunkin’ but this specific location is THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Oh and not to mention her employees were standing behind her spectating and even making jokes, laughing and one of the started singing “Ya had a bad day” over and over while the others laughed.. as I was getting my refund. As I said.. I wish this humiliating experience did not happen. I WILL not spend another...

I live in Northern Kentucky and I'm a Dunkin addict. BUT I'm EXTREMELY picky about my coffee! When I'm home, I pass 4 other dunkins in town to get to the one that knows how to make my coffee- 20 minutes each way, every day. So when I'm traveling, I know there is a 99.9% chance that the dunkins available to me won't know how to make my coffee and I'll be cranky and decaffeinated all day.

Then this past December, we found THIS Dunkin and.... wow!!! My local Dunkin has some competition!! We went every day of that trip and we just got back from another trip where we also went every day and they made my coffee perfect every time! Tasha was there in December and was still there this time and she's amazing!! The lady working the window on the mornings this time (sorry, did not get her name) was also so sweet and friendly. I've really never encountered anyone here who was anything less than amazing.

So if you need coffee anywhere in the nearby vicinity, definitely go out of your way for...

This place is seriously in need of some fresh management. Having placed a pickup order shortly before arriving I had no issue waiting, what I did take issue with here was how clearly overworked and understaffed this location was. The two employees managing the shop's entire breakfast rush were completely overwhelmed and unable to keep up with the demand.

Whoever scheduled or setup the shift that morning either has no idea what they're doing, or no sympathy for their workers.

Instead of an Arnold Palmer I ended up with a cup of pure lemon juice, no tea, no sweetener, nothing. I additionally waited at the register to pickup the order for about 5 minutes, and not once did an employee have the time to actually check in on me.

Not to mention the gas station this location is in needs quite a bit of work and cleaning. Can't say I've felt adverse to eating food in a good while, but this location brought...
