Leadership sets the tone for their staff, and it leaves a lot to be desired at this location. I placed an online order and arrived shortly after the estimated prepared time (15 min) listed on the confirmation. I ordered an additional item through an elderly male associate and asked to check the status of my online order. The presumable supervisor/ manager dressed in all black and a baseball cap checked, and after reviewing their to-go section said he couldn’t locate it. I told him no worries, that I had a copy of my order and that we’d figure it out. He continued to say he didn’t have that order on his side, so I provided the order/ payment confirmation receipt so he could use this as a cross reference. After reviewing, he reportedly still didn’t have anything on his end. By this point, he’s offered no solution to at least begin working on the order while they searched their system, so I suggested it. While I’m waiting, the manager makes a point to shout out to me that he just received my order, displacing blame on the platform they use. When my order was ready, he barely raised his voice to notify me and only stared in my direction until I met his eye. In all leadership, it falls on you to make things right and set an example. The manager refused to apologize to me for a simple system glitch. He lacked critical thinking skills to take action or exercise a customer service attitude to help resolve a paying customer’s issue. As if this experience wasn’t displeasing enough, as I’m checking the nearly $50 worth of bagels was prepared correctly, the elderly associate had the nerve to walk up to me and told me I didn’t need to worry about checking the items. This man barely looked me in the eye when I ordered and provided zero customer service, but took the time to attempt to assure me of their competence. The only person who behaved as if they were employed and glad to be was the young lady who prepared my coffee. Stop hiring individuals who deign to work and...
Read moreIt’s very unfortunate that I have to write a negative review about this restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years simply because I really do love their cheeese bagels however the service sucks. There is quite a few employees who have been there for years that are very rude. They are never pleasant, they are never smiling, they’re always in a nasty mood. The first couple of times that I noticed this I thought maybe they were having a bad day however it’s every time I go there they’re always like that and it’s like if you know that you have that nasty of a personality maybe you shouldn’t work in customer service and this is coming from somebody who has managed quite a few restaurants in my life. Also lately the restaurant is always very dirty, and the past five or six times that I’ve been there they have managed to screw up my order which is actually very simple all I order is a bagel with cream cheese on both half‘s of the bagel and hummus on both half’s of the bagel and inevitably every time I get handed a bagel that only has cream cheese on half of it why would I want to eat half of a bagel that doesn’t have cream cheese on it especially when I specifically requested for both sides to have cream cheese...The first time I ever order there and I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and hummus and they gave it to me and it only had cream cheese on one side I realized at that point that you have to physically request for them to put cream cheese on both sides of the bagel and even then they get a nasty attitude when you asked them to do it it’s like you’re asking them to do something extremely difficult. And just to throw this out there, in my experience it’s not the cashiers who have a nasty attitude the cashiers always seem to be very cheerful and helpful it’s the people in the back that are making the food that always seem to have a...
Read moreFor the first time, I ordered from their website online. I got Sesame bagels, Hash Browns with Cheese bagels, Garden Veggie Shmear (cream cheese) tub & Strawberry Cream pastry. The Sesame bagels with Garden Veggie Shmear & Strawberry Cream pastry were DELICIOUS! I first had a few problems ordering online & had to call to ask how to get delivery. The gentleman who answered the phone put me on a brief hold. Then, gave me a name & number for delivery which only led me to a voicemail. So I tried again on the website where they give you 2 delivery companies to choose from: Uber Eats & Door Dash. I chose Uber Eats. Unfortunately, their menu didn't include 2 different bagels I really wanted from the Einstein menu: Poppy & Apple Cinnamon Gourmet Bagel. Delivery took less than half an hour. Everything was packed well. The Veggie tub (7.5 oz.) didn't look like it was going to last long enough & was a bit expensive. But when I finally tasted it on my toasted bagels, I was immediately hooked! I'm thrilled with Einstein & their bagels. I've downloaded their app & signed up as a member since I'll be a repeat customer. I was devastated when Panera messed up their first 2 deliveries to me. I decided to ditch Panera for good & thankfully Einstein Bagels has taken their place. They've excelled with their wonderful food, customer service & overall...
