Shop here frequently, never had a bad experience until tonight. I was in with my 3 month old (Iâm pushing a stroller) and had no cart, just used my own bags to carry things as i shopped. Upon check out a male cashier (wonât even say âgentlemanâ cause he was far from It) was helping the shopper infront of me and she said she needed brown paper bags for her items, he replied with âtheyâre down thereâ and pointed under the counter. She told him there werenât any left and he said âthen maybe theyâre under the next counterâ in a condescending tone like she was an idiot for not checking the next lane over..? Then he gets to my items (mind you i donât have a cart, just bags and a stroller) and in the past when Iâve done this the cashier will allow me to take the cart at the register, with my items in It, over to the bagging area if there is another empty cart nearby. After i paid and my items were all in the register cart, i grabbed the cart and stroller to head to bagging when the cashier grabbed the cart and pulled It back towards him and said âcart stays here maâam, you shouldâve been bagging while i was scanning.â Which i understand but 1. Donât talk to a customer, let alone another human being, like that cause itâs rude. 2. There was an empty cart right behind him he couldâve used. 3. For instance, Aldi does not pay workers to go and collect shopping carriages. Instead, if you would like a shopping carriage you have to put a quarter into a mechanism that will release the chain in the lobby and allow you the use of the cart. In order to get your quarter back, you have to return it to where you got it from.
I'll be also does not provide any bags. It is very green in the regard that it does not give away the dolphin killing, landfill filling cheap plastic shopping bags. You can either bring your own or you can buy a top quality bag for $0.99 each. They even have a super heavy, reusable bag for a couple of bucks that you can keep in your car for when you shop.
They also don't offer mega selections. What I mean by that is they will have four or five choices of pickles instead of 12, and that's across the noard for all product offerings.
They have excellent fresh produce but they don't have a lot of the wild and exotic things you would find at a premium in a big box store.

If the customer's bank card is not immediately accepted by your system, the cashier should not take the customer's bank card from the customer's hand! If your cashier impatiently and nervously swipes the customer's bank card 3x 4x in quick succession, the customer's bank will block the card and ask the customer via SMS whether you did it or is it fraud? If your cashier caused this problem to the customer, then do not wait any longer for the customer whose problem was caused by your cashier before serving other customers and this customer will have to wait even longer.
