China Taste — Restaurant in Sarasota

I decided to grab lunch at a small Chinese takeout restaurant. I am eating it here. The food is piping hot, cheap , and delicious . I still don't like American style egg rolls. There are only four tables. One is occupied by two Chinese kids about 6-7 years old. Both are pre-occupied with iPad type game boards. Their leftover lunch is still there and they take a bite once in a while. I have been here before and have seen the kids grow up. This sight always leaves me sentimental since I grew up in a Chinese restaurant too (like my friend Curtis Chin) and I have observed this scene of Chinese kids eating, playing or doing their homework at restaurants all around the world. This scenario is played out in immigrant families from all kinds of backgrounds. Parents working grueling hours longing to achieve the American dream. Ordered lunch from this place...4 of us ate it. It is the ONLY THING we all ate the same we have been sick sick since! Do NOT eat their food! You probably won't be doing Anything else for the rest of the day!!!! I dread tomarrow!! And the manager(supposedly she is) had Zero concern about it when I called! Thought restaurants where suppose to check food especially when something like this happens as I work in restaurants and I'd feel horrible if my customers got sick from my food! She should NOT be working around food Or people! I will report this place to all...better business etc.....they need to be Closed down!!! Manager did not care they made an entire family sick(including a child)!!! What a shame! I started this review awhile ago......been sick as hell so had to brk~ called the health department on this place!! Close...

This place made my Christmas tradition come true!

It’s always been a family tradition to eat takeout Chinese food on Christmas. Since moving down from Brooklyn, I have found most restaurants hit or miss.

China Taste however consistently delivers a delicious NYC style Chinese food experience.

We normally order delivery, but the delivery times were very long. We decided to order online and drive over. I have never seen a restaurant this busy in Sarasota. My photo just shows whats in the restaurant.

Credit to the staff of the restaurant for balancing taking new orders, filling online, phone and in person orders, while cooking and packing the food.

When I finally made it home, the food was all hot and fresh.
