Only a few months old, This place has regular pizza and food as well but we went there for the vegan We had gluten and dairy free pizza here on Easter Sunday! It was unique! (Did not resemble normal pizza so don't get your hopes up ) but it was a new eating experience and it had basil on top and you could customize it with other things that we did not. We definitely liked it and had leftovers and took it home. We had tomato sauce mushrooms ( the dough On what we got, is not pizza dough but it was something black ), You can see in the picture. It was presented Artistically. We also had a side salad that we shared and it was scrumptious.. $19 +4 dollars more for the gluten-free base Dairy free and gluten-free tiramisu? Really? We couldn't refuse. We fought over it. And then the chocolate mousse? Was not like a normal mousse it was solid . I loved it. My friend felt less enthusiastic but trust me, it's taste like flourless choc cake Rather like fudge $9 each Our server ISA, was adorable. In fact the entire small place is adorable. There's a big wine list as well. And outdoor seating. I cannot imagine that they will not do well. They opened at 3 o'clock on Sunday and several people walked right in to pick up orders within the first half an hour.

My husband saw the pizzas in the window, and he said we were eating here. He quickly learned that the menu is very healthy and very vegan. Some of us loved that.... The artichoke French was so light and delicious. I really enjoyed the truffle dressing that it was served with. We also ordered the Zucchini app, and it was delicious....I have made zucchini and can never match that! We ordered a few pizzas that we loved. We also ordered the meatball dinner....it was unique consistently. Made with walnuts. It was okay... Not our favorite, and I didn't care for the pasta....it was mushy and overcooked. The sauce was really good, though.

Great new hip restaurant in Downtown Sarasota! Tons of options at Lucile — I love that everything is plant based, with dairy and meat options! As a vegan, it is amazing to see SRQ turning more vegan friendly. We got the truffled mushroom pizza and the mushroom walnut meatball pizza, and tiramisu to finish the meal. It’s a close call between which is my favorite. Their marinara sauce blows me away! Can’t wait to go back again, as this will definitely be a new staple restaurant for me. Lucile is exactly what Sarasota was missing!

Lucile Pizza truly stands out with its exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. The manager, Tailey, is a gem. I phoned at 8:30 PM, just half an hour before closing, to check on their availability of gluten-free crusts. Despite the late hour, Tailey and her team greeted us warmly as if they had all the time in the world. There was no sense of being rushed; instead, we were welcomed with open arms.

We were able to order exactly what we wanted without any hassle. Vegan is front and center on the menu with plenty for carnivores. The pizza was phenomenal—boasting a thin bottom with a satisfyingly beefy crust. Hand-tossed and fire oven-baked to perfection, it was a culinary delight. Having sampled pizzas from all over the world, we can confidently place this in our top five!

Despite usually opting for gluten-free options, I took a risk with the regular crust made from imported flour. In the U.S., gluten often causes issues due to processing methods, but I'm pleased to report no adverse effects the following day. The crust was perfect, and my system handled it well.

The atmosphere at Lucile Pizza is stylish and up-to-date, with music that complements the ambiance perfectly. All in all, Lucile Pizza offers a top-tier dining experience that we...

Updating my review.. Over the last few months, Lucile's has left off about $50 worth of toppings from our various orders. I appreciate their attitude about making it right, but I cannot understand how they cannot produce an accurate pizza, not one time. Statistically, and through human error, I understand mistakes..but when I'm paying $77 for three pizzas and all my toppings are missing, and it happens EVERY single time..there's no excuse. The manager admitted on the phone that this is a consistent problem....yet every time we've gone in, it's the pizza guy and her in there. I assume she might start double checking orders before they go out. I LOVE their cashew cheese and pizzas, but the fact they don't correct this is really annoying. Please train the pizza person to read an order, please double-check before it leaves the restaurant if you know the orders are consistently wrong and customers are telling you enough for you to be aware of the issue. If you are in the restaurant to order and wait, your chances of getting toppings is better, delivery is a...
