Rendez Vous French Bakery — Restaurant in Sarasota

So, so glad I stumbled across this place. Very quaint atmosphere with what seemed to be a ton of regulars (always a good sign). I was pleasantly greeted as soon as I walked in the door and seated at a table right away. Everything on the menu looked amazing so I did what I always do and asked the server for her 2 favorite dishes. She wholeheartedly recommended the Salmon Omelet and raved about the quality of their salmon. But her absolute favorite dish was Le Croque Madame... toasted ham, swiss cheese topped with bechamel sauce and a sunny side egg. Since I could not decide between the two, I decided to get both... sort of. I added a side of the smoked salmon on to my order for Le Croque Madame... PERFECT COMBO!!! Loved every single bite... also loved their Eiffel Tower topped Cappuccino (see attached photo) And what do you get after an amazing breakfast like this one... pastries for all your friends. Had my server pick out her 6 favorites and package them up for me to bring to some clients I was seeing later that day. As soon as I showed up with their WELL BRANDED BAG in hand, everyone's eyes lit up and they all exclaimed, "I LOVE THAT PLACE" Check it out... I am pretty sure you will...

If you’re looking for a slice of Parisian charm, this delightful little French bakery is the perfect find. From the moment you step inside, the smell of freshly baked bread envelops you, making it almost impossible to leave without picking up a loaf (or two). Their croissants are buttery and flaky, with a perfect crisp that shatters in your mouth, while the pain au chocolat is decadently filled with rich, smooth chocolate.

I stopped by for breakfast and had their quiche Lorraine, which was wonderfully creamy and well-seasoned, alongside a fresh salad. The bakery also serves lunch, and their sandwiches, crafted with house-made baguettes, are simply divine—light, crunchy on the outside, and soft within.

Their coffee is strong and pairs perfectly with any of their pastries. Prices are fair considering the quality, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or just a coffee and a pastry break. Will...

I discovered PRENDEZ-VOUS Bakery a few months ago and have become a regular customer. It's a little piece of France in the middle of Sarasota. The bread is delicious and crisp, the viennoiseries are just perfect and the pastries are a real treat.

The service is always warm and friendly. The staff are always happy to help you choose the right bread or pastry.
