We had a great dining experience at Fleming's Steakhouse in Sarasota celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. When I made the reservation, the app asked if it was for a special occasion and "anniversary" was an option to check. We arrived a bit early and decided to take advantage of happy hour and have a cocktail and appetizer at the bar. Skyler was our bar tender, and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and made great cocktails! I don't remember the cute names of the drinks, but I had a margarita type cocktail with their house made chipotle syrup and fresh lime, and it was delicious! The flavor profile was very interesting and was served with a fresh flower garnish. My hubby had the bourbon, honey, lemon juice cocktail and he really enjoyed it as well! They use fresh juices and high-quality garnishes and spirits. We also had the onion rings. They were crispy and delicious, but the full portion is 6 large onion rings, which was too much to eat before dinner. Skyler did suggest the half order, but we thought 6 would be easy to share. We then moved to our table in the dining room and found an anniversary card and heart confetti decorating the table. David our server was there quickly and wished us a Happy Anniversary! He came back with warm bread and two compound butters that were both yummy! Then Andy, the manager came over and introduced himself and brought us each a glass of champagne. David came back and took a photo of us and then printed it and brought it out on a card. We appreciated the attention to detail! I ordered the 8 oz filet, medium with the truffle lobster and my hubby ordered the 16 oz dry-aged ribeye with the peppercorn sauce. Our steaks were both cooked perfectly. We shared a classic wedge salad, which was very good with their home-made blue cheese dressing. Andy brought out a trio of specialty salts which were a perfect addition to the steak. David came back after dinner and offered us a free dessert, but we passed on that because we were so full. Those huge onion rings were so filling. Then David brought out a larger, framed print of the photo he took of us and a box of chocolate truffles. We eat at upscale steakhouses just 2 or 3 times a year and always enjoy the service and food, but we were very impressed with the service, food, and overall hospitality of this evening. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate a special date night! I didn't get the name of the other young man who was assisting in the exceptional service, but the team was great! We live 3 hours away, but will definitely go back on our next visit...

We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at “Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar”, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and the elegant yet inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a special evening. The true star of our night—aside from the incredible food—was our waiter, Sean Chludzinski. He was nothing short of amazing! His attentiveness, professionalism, and warm personality made our dining experience exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations and ensuring every dish was prepared exactly to our liking. His service was seamless—always there when we needed him but never intrusive. As for the food, every bite was perfection. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered—tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The sides were outstanding as well, with everything arriving hot and fresh. Our wine selection, expertly suggested by Sean, paired beautifully with our meal, making the experience even more enjoyable. Since we were celebrating a birthday, Sean made sure to add thoughtful touches that made the night feel extra special. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality set the evening apart, turning an already great meal into a truly unforgettable experience.
If you're looking for an exceptional steakhouse experience, Fleming’s is the place to go. And if you’re lucky enough to have Sean Chludzinski as your server, you're in for an evening of impeccable service and hospitality. We’ll definitely...
Read moreWe frequent Flemings quite often in Tampa, some could see every week just about. We expected the same experience at this location, however it was lackluster. To begin with, we sat in the couples sized booth and directly to my left was a shelf covered in dust. I mean honestly it was disgusting to look at once noticed half way through the meal when I tried looking at the bar for my drink. My drink, was my usual espresso martini, and it lacked in flavor as well as how much was in the glass. For being charged $24+ mistakenly (we caught it on the bill thankfully), I would expected it to be full like it’s always been at any other restaurant I get a martini. Coming to my meal, I’ve never been served such a small plate for my entree Caesar salad. I get the same thing every visit, and not only was I told I couldn’t add shrimp to it, but then it came out on an almost appetizer sized plate! This was our first experience where many silly tees weren’t crossed, which is appalling. We come and spend as much for the pure enjoyment of the food and service! We kept the lil qualms quiet to tell the manager about his restaurant, as they usually come to introduce themselves and ask about the meal. I wasn’t too sure, as the gentleman that came to our table only bussed the few plates, scraped and walked away without a word or eye contact. Very unusual moment and wasn’t sure if feedback was warranted as if I’d get a response or care. It was an okay experience, definitely not up to par with other locations, especially Tampa. Please dust your restaurant if you take...
