OH, I Need to Update on THE switch to a NEW BERRY Seasonal FROSTY. Should you missed the previous FROSTY ORANGE CREAMSCILE, well it is something later coming your way. one not to be missed in my order. The BERRY brings up a strawberry tune first then follows accented with a sour breath of a raspberry. Appropriately named, the BERRY but why does it hint to me as a Sweet Apple juice may be pulling the BERRY taste together as refreshing? Do ask for a spoon if you must sample yours asap! This WENDY'S across from the SRQ Memorial Hospital at 41/ Tamiami at the Waldemere light gives you Got plenty of time to try unique Breakfast offerings 6:30am every day to 1 am daily except on Sunday closing at Midnight. Early 70's friends & i Drove to one of the first Wendy's for a High School Lunch, I enjoy seeing the progress of the large Co.& Chain. I knew if the Thomas House handed out PEZ at Halloween, Wendy's was off to a good start. Friend Kim & I were disappointed though yet understand "life" ways ended W's frequented excellent Salad Bar. Across the Board all restaurants closed the salad bars. Conveniently decribed Salads are available of thru the DriveThru. -Ceasars salad the Taco Rate as Sure (order) Thin ! - The Chicken Wraps sport salad makings inside. Recent Dec./ Jan.'24 advertising hype was excellent for the new FISH Sandwich. With days between and 2 tries, that FISH ending was foreseen. yes. Switching from the historic thick mouth filling longer FRENCH FRIES was actually a shock. Thought it was a supply substitute. But later that week there they were again. Those FF pieces, abundant of burnt edges, & a THIN variety of lenghts again in my sack. THIS was not the end of the batch basket fried, or end of the lunch /dinner rush. . Others may of experienced & felt the same as i. They did a call saying so. A Change was made since Better THIN, more consistant lenghts of French fries now persist. (cool faster & do dislike) Service at this drive thru must receive well above good training especially in comparisons. I witness smiles. i feel manners & patience. i see my Bag checked for accurracy. My receipt is handed & not smashed with the awaited 5 warm Cookie snack, Breakfast, Meal&/or the New BERRY FROSTY!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWendy's is usually great for a quick lunch when I'm short on time. This location was a big disappointment. Had 30 min for lunch, drove by to grab a salad and some nuggs. Nuggs were cold, dry and pretty old. Dipped them in some sweet n sour to choke them down on my way back to work. Ran back to work, opened up my salad, looked pretty good. Started to eat it, and noticed some slimy lettuce. You know, the kind in the bag in the back of the bottom drawer of the fridge. It happens, no biggie. Then I found another, and another. I'm a 5 second rule kinda person, and hadn't eaten breakfast this morning. Was trying to muddle through it, but I was starting to get pretty grossed out. The final straw was a hella long black hair tangled up in my chicken. I over looked the guy working the window, he was super dirty, unkempt uniform, greasy hair, just absolutely terribly dirty teeth and hands. I just want a salad. Maybe he had a bad day. I overlooked the manager climbing up on a ladder behind him, also in a filthy uniform. Took my food back after work to get my $ back. Same manager from the ladder came to the window. Manners? None. Hey, sorry about your food? Nada. 2nd employee comes up to her while she's refunding my money and starts putting her hands all over her in a quite, let's just say..a very unprofessional way. They almost looked like twin sisters so it was even stranger. Both heavy set, blonde Hispanic looking. Just really hoping I don't get sick from what I did eat. First of all we serve fresh and good food. From my own perspective I consider the Crew members hard workers and friendlies with all the costumers. The managers act as much professional they can except for Judy.
I have a terrible review for Judy. First of all she don't respect the crew members ( Including my self during all the time I was working there ) She spreads bad energy to the team and the costumers. She don't want to work and if she does she is always complaining about her job and how bad she wants to quit. She its very unstable when it comes to treat costumers and just can't act professional.
Today was my last day working there after one year ( Which I don't regret ) And when I was saying goodbye to my mates she did the comment '' I don't care about him. Its his last day ''. Terrible lack of gratitude after all my hard work there ( But the others managers were very good with me including Jeff ) This was not a rare case but a very common daily behavier from her side. Not the first time I have a confrontation with her.
In conclusion this Wendy's do it best to take care of their costumers and the managers are very profesional except for Judy. I really think bigger managers should take a look at her behavier with the costumers and the employees. She is spreading a terrible energy among costumers. I hope this review can be...
