This is a hard review to write because we love Zupas. We've been going to different Zupas frequently for the last 10-12 years. My wife worked in Zupas for 5 years and worked her way up to be a catering coordinator at multiple locations. We went to the Saratoga Springs location for lunch on Saturday and our biggest takeaway was that there was ZERO hustle from the employees that were there. They were friendly and helpful, but they did not move with any sense of a purpose. In his defense, there was one shift lead that was trying, but he can't do it all. My wife and children went and sat down while I waited in line. I was the third person in line, it wasn't that busy. And I understand that there was a drive-thru as well so I was trying to be patient. It took over 15 minutes to get through the line and get all of our food food. There wasn't any hustle after we ordered the salads and sandwiches. The supervisor finally stepped in and got everyone in line their soups, but we were still waiting on sandwiches. It took so long that my wife called me and asked if everything was okay or if I had my wallet because we weren't getting through the line very quickly and she was worried I was the problem. After we got our food and I had sat down, my wife noticed that she had the wrong sandwich and that her soup was cold. The shift lead was trying to be helpful by loading up all the soups and setting them on top of the desert window, the problem is that everything else took so long that the food was cold by the time we sat down. The girl at the register was great she told us that she would make another sandwich and bring it out to us, which she did. But by then the food was all cold and we were just ready to go. I will say, the sandwich that I had tasted good. That is something you can always expect here. But the process and effort that it took to get this food was shocking. We were really disappointed in this visit. We've both worked in restaurants and we understand things happen, so we were trying not to be a burden with the cold soups so we didn't say anything. Overall though, this was a really bad experience at Zupas and we're really reluctant to go back to...

I’m not sure why they allow mobile ordering when it is faster to just order from the outdoor kiosk. I ordered my usual Friday night order while driving home from Sandy. and was given the time to arrive as 6:39pm. I pulled in to the drive by lanes to pick up my food and sat in line for 25 minutes. Got up to the window and the girl said they hadn’t even started to make our salads. She told us to park. We said we’d circle back around since the last time they parked us we sat for 30 minutes and they forgot us. So here we are at 7:25pm, and have still not gotten our food. We are one car from the pick up window, finally, and will see if they’ve even attempted to make our food. Up at window, and our food is still not made. Why does Zupas have mobile ordering if they do not make the food ordered by the mobile app? We saw them swipe a ladies card and hand her her food. She clearly ordered an hour after we did at the kiosk, and was able to get her food immediately. This seems to be a common practice with Zupas in Saratoga Springs. What’s more ridiculous is they do not want to take responsibility for their lack of organization. I asked to speak to a manager when this happen the first time and the kid at the window said the manager was too busy to speak to us. I’d really hate to stop going to Zupas, so please figure out how to be more efficient with how you...
Read moreGoogle for some reason guides you to the wrong location, it's a new place so it's expected. Supposed is just north of where it takes you, it is across from the Ulta and Sportsman Warehouse parking lot. This Zupas had self ordering stations which is nice, they are right before the line area so you can choose to use the ordering stations or go in line. It wasn't busy when I stopped by so I just went in the traditional line. They have all the same great food as always! I love Zupas, they give great service and have the best soups and salads. My favorite salads are "nuts about berries" and the mango salad. All the sandwiches are good, the warm ones warm my heart with their melted cheese. The soups are so amazing and well, tomato basil, lobster bisque, Wisconsin cauliflower or chicken enchilada are great choices. They also have protein bowls which are pretty much a salad with twice the protein in them.
They also have an assortment of very indulgent desserts. The mudslide brownies are amazing. I could live without the brulees, and the cheesecake is par. The chocolate covered strawberries that are free with each meal are always wonderful. Zupus is pretty popular in this area, but they are very efficient and get customers in and out...
