No matter what time of day I come to this location, they’re always out of the chipotle-honey vinaigrette. If it’s listed as an option—especially for salads—it should be regularly stocked. Instead, I get an immediate “we’re out” every single time, without anyone even checking. At this point, it honestly feels like staff are trained to say that unless you’re ordering a salad. To make matters worse, my recent online order was completely wrong. Both burrito bowls were missing ingredients—no corn, no romaine, no tomato salsa—and what was supposed to be black beans looked like pinto. Worst of all, the rice was undercooked. When I drove back, they offered to remake the order but said they still couldn’t serve cooked rice because their rice cooker was broken. What a coincidence—and how convenient. Either it really was broken, or the staff just didn’t want to bother. There’s a phone number posted on the drive-thru window for customer service, since apparently “they don’t handle issues in-store”. I called and requested a refund since the food was incomplete and basically inedible. Instead of a refund, I was given a food voucher—with an expiration date. Did they really think I’d want to come back after that? This entire experience was disappointing from start to finish. If you’re charging full price, the food should be made correctly, and basic items like vinaigrette should be available. Chipotle is no longer my go-to for eating out. Unacceptable on every level.

Our order was supposed to be ready at 6:50. Waited for 30 minutes in the drive thru and got to the window at 6:55. They didn’t have any record of our order. While they were looking into it, they suddenly received our order, 20 minutes after it was placed. They had us drive back through drive thru. We waited for another 30 minutes to pick up super cold food, none of our sides, missing all the drinks and they didn’t have any bags for the kids meals (the tops of which pop off easily). We asked how to resolve this and we were told, “I don’t know. Drive around, come in and talk to a manager… I guess”. Worst Chipotle ever. I know they are a new location but that doesn’t excuse the lack of customer service. I hope they hire some good employees so we can return. UPDATE 10/10/22. We moved from Washington State recently and Chipotle was a staple for us. We miss it and decided to give this Chipotle another try. After a couple months in business hopefully they’ve gotten their groove. This time we weren’t going to order online and went inside. As we approached the door there was a sign saying they’ve run out of rice and corn? Corn? Do they mean corn salsa? Despite the fact that we live 2 miles away, we drove 20 minutes to the Lehi Chipotle. Maybe we’ll give this location another shot next year? I hope they get their stuff together because we are big Chipotle fans and it’s killin’ us to be so close, yet so far.

I will always avoid this location if I can. I love chipotle and I will make a point to go and eat at the Lehi location which is 15 minutes farther for us. We will always avoid this location for the following reasons: 1. Portion sizes. I always have to order 3 portions of chicken at this location and pay MORE to get a regular double chicken at any other location. If I ever order online you can be certain every ingredient will be skimped on. 2. (Featured Picture) Employees. Whenever I get extra portions the front line employee puts the dirty plastic markers IN my food. I reported the issue several times to “management” though the issue continued without anyone ever addressing it. Now I know that food service is tough working for fast food chains most of my young working career, but these employees are generally miserable and lack any basic customer service interaction skills. 3. Quality of food. Every time we come here the rice is undercooked or over cooked. The chicken is like ground chicken like it was diced into too many tiny pieces and has not been prepared well and the flavor is almost always lack luster. They are constantly out of food to top it off. This location needs a major overhaul before I will ever consider going there again.

Update #3: Still no response to the feedback I sent via their official channels. Nothing has been made right. It is over a week later and that is just too long to wait for something like this to be addressed. I was going to give them a chance and see what their response was, but it has been silence outside of this Scott person responding to this review claiming they'll do something about it. There will be no further updates from me. I will probably not waste my money at any Chipotle again and most definitely not this one. Avoid this Chipotle at all costs, drive to the one up by the Traverse outlets or even Herriman, the additional cost of the fuel will be well worth avoiding this place. If you do opt to go to this one, I would be prepared for crunchy rice, missed items, errors in your order, and overcooked meats. If that is what interests you in your food, more power to you.

Update #2: It has been three days since the response to this review intimated they wanted to make things right if I submitted feedback through their website (which I had done before their comment). No response has been received.

Update: I left feedback via Chipotle's website, as suggested by the manager response (of note, I did this before the recommendation and before I left this review, the 200 character limitation per item to explain my issues was not enough space, grossly under-representing the sum of my issues with my order). So far no response.

We have attempted five online orders from this Chipotle and they have choked on all five of them. Today's issue was crunchy and under cooked brown rice, completely missing add-ons we paid for or items where we asked for extra (I got no salsa in my bowl where I asked for extra). The carne asada was extremely overcooked (as crunchy as the rice was) and they put almost nothing in my burrito bowl. We are never ordering from here again and are probably done with Chipotle at this point because of this store unless we are in some dire apocalyptic circumstances. Steer clear if you like Chipotle or else you will never want...
