They have completely fell off , I’m from the Caribbean And when they had the older Jamaican lady at the front , things came out in a timely manner . then they hired the African lady and her attitude was terrible and unwelcoming, and I’m not sure if she’s gone or not , but everytime I visit this place there’s a different chick in the front . Every single time I order the stew fish it always takes and hour and a half , one time it took over 2 hours because the African lady forgot to place the order with the kitchen, and now today I ordered it via the phone and the ( new chick ) didn’t put it in and instead she put in 2 stew chicken instead of a fish and chicken , it’s poorly ran in the front and I was loyal but if the customer service at the front doesn’t improve they would loose many loyal customers , I have 2 friends that stopped going here for this very...
Read morea couple of years ago... this was the best food i'd ever tasted... i took an internet friend fron kansas and his girl that were touristing savannah there... they walked in and being white folks... they were clearly concerned by their surroundings... island breeze is definitely not upscale... and not in the best neighborhood... lol... but when they got the food... forgot all about being in the hood... they were licking the plates... i don't even eat beef... but i was hooked on their oxtails... they were addicting... but sometime in the last year or two... they changed cooks... now the oxtails are good... but not otherwordly mouth watering like they used to be... but they're still probably the best in town... the peas and rice that accompany the oxtails are still...
Read moreI bought a large oxtail dinner last week. In the last year I may have frequent this establishment approximately three or four times for this same dish. The food tastes good, but when you bite into the oxtails they are thick & cold in the middle each time I visited. I decided to give them another try from my last experience when I visited; but it was still the same. It appears they pre-cook their oxtails then warm them up in the microwave per order. If this is not the case, I would love to know why they are serving food that appears to be hot, only to bite into thick cold meat for $25 a plate. I'm disgusted! I'm currently looking for another...
