I was so disappointed! Spent the day shopping with family from out of town and saw Red Robin we had so many choices but we picked Red Robin! Huge mistake! The restaurant looked pretty empty so we figured we would get in quickly we’ll 1st she said she’d seat 7of us right away and after 10 min of standing around she said it would be a 25 min wait. Well again figured we were already there we would wait. When she finally sat us no one came to great us or anything! Had to flag someone down and she acted like we were bothering her! I asked to have water for the table again acted like we were bothering her! I asked for lemon with the water she came back with tiny pieces of lemon and not enough for all of us but ok she took our order and didn’t even ask our drink order and again family from out of town, talking didn’t even realize we didn’t get drinks! The food was not good! I ordered crispy chicken salad and the chicken was rock hard! My cousin ordered a monster burger it was raw! No one came back to ask how we were or anything about the food! We had to again flag a girl to ask for containers again like we were a bother dirty looks and all! I had to look around to get a bag for our containers! We spent $140 to think I could have chosen 10 other restaurants! I will never go back! The room was empty maybe 5other people! Red Robin do better people work hard for their money! To spend it on a place where I feel like a bother is...
Read moreThis is the 1st place we ate at after coming home from a month long trip to Europe. This review is is going to be a bit of a compare and contrast because of our recent experience in several other European countries for the previous month. America is truly great and unique and Red Robin is just one of the many consistent establishments that make it that way. You get way more food here than most any other place in Europe. The food comes quicker and the service was superior to anything we had been used to over the previous month. We ate at multiple places over the past month in Europe with final bills that were $100-$200 and the service didn't come close to what Hannah offered us in service here at Red Robin. Our server, Hannah was amazingly friendly, kind, and attentive to us. She was quick and checked on us several times. In most European countries the wait staff is paid more but then tips are not expected. For those who critique the U.S. for low restaurant wages, go eat at restaurants in Europe and you'll appreciate how much better you are treated in the U.S. because the waitstaff has to earn their wages. Hannah earned her tip! She was such a pleasant refreshing welcome back to America where you can achieve anything if you your willing to overcome obstacles! Thank you Hannah and the rest of the staff at this Schaumburg Red Robin! Keep America Great, there is not another one in the...
Read moreThis is one of those times when the right server is all the difference. We tried another Red Robin location and was terribly disappointed. Today was a complete 180°. Jordan was our server and was great. She told us about a promotion that got us a free appetizer. The twisty mozzarella sticks were fine mozzarella sticks. The burgers and Wraps were the star of our show. Here's a pro tip: Red Robin will do any of their burgers as a grilled chicken breast, crisy fried chicken breast, turkey burger or vegan patty at no additional charge. If you want an Impossible Patty, it is a $3.50 up charge. You can also get the burger as a wrap, or a lettuce wrap. Watching my carb intake, I went wrap route. Each burger comes with sides of French fries , sweet potato fries, or garlic fries. I went for the up charge of Garlic Parmesan Steamed Broccoli. The wrap was savory and cheesy, I did not miss the bun at all. The Garlic Parmesan Broccoli was tender and nutty. All the sides have free refills and I definitely took an extra helping of broccoli. My friends got the Southern Charm burger (cheddar BBQ sauce, bacon, and sautéed onions) and the Royal Red Robin (sunny side up egg, bacon +avocado at an up charge). Both were on point. We treated ourselves to desert of Shortbread Chocolate Souffle cake. The cake had crispy edges and a gooey center, topped with...
