12/25/2020 They were the only place really open for breakfast on Christmas this year. I get it, it was a busy day to go. I ordered online for two family feasts. Both should have been ready by 11:15am. I walk into the restaurant at around 11:00 just to make sure my orders went through and asked how long it would take. The lady at the front said about 15 mins. So I waited in the restaurant.
10, 15, 20 mins had passed and no update. Someone asked what my order was and that she would check the back to see. I heard nothing. I waited a little longer just cuz I understand they were busy. But then I went up again to ask how long it would be. They checked the back and it was not ready yet. It was about an hour later and I approached the lady at the front and asked if it was almost ready since the initial wait time an hour ago was 15 mins and still nothing and that I would just cancel the order.
I kept getting told that the bags were getting packed or that they were just waiting on eggs, and that they should be out soon. Another maybe 10 mins and a bag came to the front for me. I asked if it was the complete 2 feasts and the lady at the front said yes. I said I ordered two separate feast meals and the bag only had 1 feast. I asked to please check to see if the second was being made or if it was almost ready but if not I had to cancel the order because I had somewhere to be and that was too long to wait. She went to the back and came back but did not even say anything. My first meal was on the counter getting cold and I just decided to leave with the one order. I know, I shouldn't even have taken the order to begin with but I did not want to show up to my family empty-handed.
Long story short, bad first experience at this ihop. Maybe it was just a bad day to go. But I did not like the feeling that they kept leading me on that it was going to be out when it probably wasn't even started to begin with. Like just tell me the truth so I could have just left before they even started the order. Not even an apology for taking so long after I paid and took the overdue one feast. Or a "hey here's a little something or discount...
Read moreIf I had the option to not give a star I would! Currently heating up my food in the microwave because I had to wait a little over 30mins for “curbside delivery”. Fun fact...nothing curbside about it. There’s ZERO signage for curbside parking ALSO, I ended up having to walk in after calling ten times. I got through only two times... The first time I got through was on the 5th call and I was told someone will be bringing it out. If you guess they didn’t after waiting 7mins you’re correct! I legit watch people walk in and out with food. ..DoorDashers and all. I called another 4 times and no answer. Finally got through on the 10th one this time. An employee says the exact same thing..”oh someone will bring it out” and then asks for my name and puts me I guess on hold or mute for almost 10mins. At this point I’m livid!! I preferred curbside for a reason and that was to not walk in and be exposed to a lot of people. Guess who had to walk in...THIS GUY. I walk in and my bag of food is just sitting there. No one made the attempt to even bring it out. It was only 2 people waiting for a freaking table. I ask so is curbside not a thing and she states oh we’re just a little backed up in the back. AT WHAT POINT WAS THAT GOING TO BE SAID ON THE PHONE and then why wasn’t it common sense to say since we can’t bring it out can you possibly come in to get your food? I understand that especially with it being 11:45am on a Sunday. But the choice of just having my food sit out in the open since 11:42am and not state someone can bring it out made more sense? Clearly stupidity trainings are being performed here. Won’t return. I rather pass this IHOP which is legit 2mins from my home and go to one 20mins away before dealing with this slow and untrained staff. Also the omelette was trash! Barely made with eggs but a freaking whole bag of...
Read moreWhere do I start? First of all the only reason that I am giving 2 stars is because the pancakes were good. We went on a Tuesday morning at about 9:30 and it was almost dead, there was maybe 3 other tables in there when we arrived. We sat down and our waitress, Tay, came over and got our drinks. We waited 10 minutes to get our coffee and orange juice for the kids. She didn't come back to take our order for almost 20-25 minutes! Like I said it was dead and there was hardly anyone there. Then when we ordered our food I got a burrito bowl and my husband got a burrito and at the top of the menu it said that we got a side of pancakes, hash browns or toast with our meal. So when we asked our waitress she said no it doesn't come with that. We could of argued it but we just wanted to eat and get on with our day. And with how infrequently she was coming to our table we knew that would of taken even longer. Then our food came, and my food, the burrito bowl looked sad, it wasn't very good, like no effort went into it at all. She brought some of the wrong food and we said that isn't what we ordered, she came back brought another wrong item and then finally came back with the right stuff. She never came back to refill coffee my husband had to flag her down to get the coffee. She just kept disappearing into the back. My one son ordered an OJ to go and I went to the bathroom, and came back and it still wasn't there, we waited another 10 minutes for that! 20 minutes to get our check. It was ridiculous, she was by no means rude but not a good waitress at all. The food was mediocre except for the pancakes and for $52 I would hope it would of been better! It's definitely not the IHOP I remember! Go...
