I have been here on three separate occasions now, and each time has been incredible.
The first time I came with my wife. We read the reviews and were ready for some good food. We could smell it in the parking lot, a good sign. We were surprised to be ushered to the buffet, but rolled with it and were not disappointed in the least. Each dish was more flavorful than the last. As it was my first time here I was overcome with delight. I made three or four trips. I quietly commented to my wife that the naan was a little stale and the guy must have heard me. He came to the table, also commented on it, and asked if I would like a fresh order. I said sure and for no extra charge he brought out the freshest, warmest naan soaked in oil. It was crispy and soft at the same time. It was so amazing that I lack words to describe it. The rice and protein dishes were incredible. The rice pudding was delicious.
The second time I brought a party of six to the buffet. Everyone really enjoyed their food.
The third time I came with my wife and kids and ordered off the menu. I ordered my favorite chicken in the creamy tomato base, and my wife ordered the veggie korma. We also got garlic naan and masala tea which was amazing with a little sugar. The kids gobbled up plain naan, rice, and mango smoothies. I tried the mango smoothie and it tasted like they sliced and pureed real fresh mangos. Absolute heaven. My one daughter drank two of them. All in all we had a lovely night out.
Admittedly this place could use a little more character in terms of atmosphere, but if that's the sacrifice they have to make to focus on the food being so unbelievable then I'll take it. Be warned that the doorbell is loud and pretty jarring when you walk in.
I am so so glad that these folks are here in the region cooking up this unsurpassed...
Read moreFirst-time customer, not experienced with Indian food, but willing to try. I was hoping the waiter would help us navigate the menu in terms of popular items or his favorites, but he didn't really. A tip for the management: train staff to help those new to this food culture. He was nice and gave us plenty of time to decide, however. Just about everything was absolutely flavorful and excited my taste buds. The sweet Lassi would have been better and stayed chilled if they served it with ice. It had just enough sweetness and a little tart as plain yogurt usually is. The slight aftertaste reminded us of cucumber. The masala tea was very good. It tasted like it had ginger and a hint of cumin in it. It is a touch spicy, but I loved it. For the appetizer, we tried the mixed platter of pakora. It consists of shrimp, chicken breasts, lamb, and Mahi fish. The fish was the best. It is enough to feed 3-4 people. For all dishes, you get to choose your spice level. The main dishes we shared, we tried the chicken Tikka masala, chicken fried rice, and the lamb kadhai. All of them were good. The best was the fried rice. You get large portions of basmati white rice with the meat dishes. Lamb was tender, chicken was tender and moist. You absolutely have to get the garlic Naan! I could've eaten two baskets of that! We got the bread basket( garlic naan, naan, and laacha paratha; it can feed 5 if you get 2 pieces each), but the garlic Naan is highly recommended. We ordered the raita, which is a yogurt sauce to dip the bread in, but you really don't need it because you can use the bread to go with the meat and sauces they come in. We will be back again as we enjoyed ourselves. The environment is average but could use some improvement.. We went on a Thursday evening and it was not crowded at all. I hope to try the...
Read moreThis was my very first time here and also first time trying the food. I LOVE every aspect of it. From the pleasant waiter, whom he was very accommodating and to the cook himself. Now I did my research on this place and I went straight to reviews. Let me tell those who are looking to try/first-timers, this place is a must-go!!! I did the dine-in but they do have a buffet. I'm not a big fan of buffet style and that's with any restaurants. Simply because I want my food to be served to me hot and fresh, I don't care too much for food that's been sitting out. Anywho, I know I wanted the garlic Naan and the chicken biryani but I also wanted to try Shrimp Kadhi. All were very delicious and scrumptious. That garlic naan was super fresh and super tasty. For those who didn't know what to order definitely start with the Garlic Naan. Now if you not a fan of spicy food they do have a spice meter on their menu. That's a cool option but I got my food medium spicy and it wasn't that spicy at all (for me). Now one thing that set them apart from this stellar review is that when I placed my order, I was really stuck on getting Shrimp Kadhi however they did not have that on the menu but the cook was able to prepare it for me anyway. I also wanted to try pani puri but that wasn't on the menu as well. This is what it means to go above and beyond for your customers. I am truly appreciative of this and I will be back soon because now I want to try the coconut chicken curry and the samosas as well and ohhh maybe some lamb as well. Trust and believe that this will not be my first and only visit but most definitely a satisfied happy recurring customer. To the waiter and cook, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND...
