Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Scio Township

The manager of the store was rude. I've been going to tropical smoothie with my children for years and ordering them the same thing. Strawberry banana smoothies. He somehow heard me say chocolate banana smoothies. When he gave them to me I told him that it's not what I ordered. He proceeded to tell me that I told him that I wanted chocolate banana smoothies.

I told him that I know what I ordered and not to tell me what I said. He replied saying "don't tell me what I heard. I know you said chocolate banana"... WHAT?!

I told him I was going to report him to his higher ups and he said he didn't care....Very well.

I also told him that I was a veteran when I ordered to receive my veteran discount. He said okay but didn't give me my discount which I didn't even say...

i’ve visited almost every tropical smoothie in Michigan and this is hands down the cleanest one i’ve been to! The workers treat you like royalty THE SECOND you walk in, I thought I was at the cheesecake factory or something. great quality smoothies, fruit picked straight from the tree. even the milk is freshly squeezed out of the cow. I recommend everyone and their mama to hit up THIS and ONLY this tropical smoothie. 10/10, i drive an hour away EVERYDAY for THIS spot. I will never go to any other tropical smoothie. i am a loyal customer forever. i love you...

I walked in there with my kids as we had seen this location waiting to be opened for months. Kids were really looking forward to trying some of their smoothies. We walked in and after about a minute the 3 of us decided to leave because of the smell inside. It smelled like rotten, spoiled milk. Strange. Maybe that was an isolated event but the smell was quite noticeable and certainly did not promote any of us to try whatever was being prepared or served.
