QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Scio Township

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. We arrived at 8pm, all the chairs were up as if they were closed. We went inside to see if they were still open and not one of the 3 employees greeted us. We had to ask multiple times if they were open but could not understand their low mumbles. The employee that was mumbling was also on a personal call with an AirPod in the entire time so it was never clear if she was speaking to us or the person on her phone. Finally at the register, I had to clarify our order multiple times as she did not pay attention to everything that was just ordered. My son tried taking a chair down when the employee said, please don’t take that down because the dining room is closed. This was a painfully awkward experience where it felt like we inconvenienced the employees by ordering food. I believe a manager was there as she was wearing black shirt as opposed to the other two wearing yellow shirts and she did nothing to help the situation. Feb 14, 2025 Ordered 2 bowls today and did NOT come as ordered. Both bowls disappointing and most of the rice not edible. It was the crusty part that's in the pot, after it sits in there for a long time. So hard and not able to chew it.

First one was with the ground beef plus plenty of veggies as ordered, however the salsa was missing and the cheese queso both as toppings; thankfully this order was for my mom and she was OK with it, despite the hardness of the rice.

The other bowl with the steak was missing items and very dry with no sauce. I requested half and half combo for rice but only given the white one. Beans were only black, when requested half pinto half black. The fajita veggies, sour cream, cheese queso, and salsa were missing from this bowl.

Frankly, I would not order this again. This was not worth the $16 spent after the BOGO free entree promo discount for valentine's day.

This Qdoba location was unfortunately one of the worst I have ever visited. To begin, I asked for a salad, but the girl working informed me that they were out of lettuce. As I moved down the line with my bowl, I asked another employee if they had lettuce, and he actually went in the back to check. Turns out they did have a whole bucket of lettuce, but the girl was too lazy to refill this. It was the same with the veggies. If that was the only problem, I wouldn't be writing this. However, as we sat and ate, the staff began blaring explicit music, to the point where the customers had to yell to give their order. The same girl was observed playing on her phone 5+ times instead of helping customers who were waiting. She was also observed sniffling and wiping her nose with her wrist and hands. Did she wear a mask? Nope. Did she get a tissue? Nope. Did she wash her hands? Nope.
