Holy moly, I've never been to a CFA that had so few customers (I'm used to Huntsville's drive-thrus being wrapped around the building twice and long lines inside) yet so disorganized when it comes to getting orders correct! It took, at minimum, 5x as long as busy Hsv locations before we got our correct order, and when we got there I'm guessing there were a couple people in the drive-thru and at peak 5 tables of customers inside where we ate.
Long story short: given someone else's entire order then when we received our own it was missing 3 of the 7 items. Employee got us our missing drink. Reminded him we were still missing mac&cheese and a sandwich. They wanted to see the order so I gave him my receipt and was told the mac wasn't on there. I checked and it wasn't even though the girl repeated it to me after ordering and said it took the mac off since I redeemed some of my app points for a free one. I checked the app and it still showed the reward available so they had me go order it again. They brought it to me in a bag, but without my sandwich, so I had to ask a 3rd time and was again asked to see my receipt. It was on there so it was eventually given to us. Took them FOUR tries to get our order right. Not to mention there were at least 3 others complaining their order wasn't correct when they received it.
Considering at the peak, during the hour we were there (5:18-6:23pm), there were maybe 5 tables of people at one time that I could see, and 4 people complaining during our visit. The correct order % wasn't great. Took 3 tries to get the people's order beside us correct (we originally were given their food and assume it was re-made and given to them but they told the employee the order was missing items. Hopefully, it was correct the 3rd time.)
We sat near the front and could hear every person that approached the counter complaining, but could also hear people in the back complaining as well (we were centrally located between the 2 areas.)
Since they seemed fully staffed and weren't busy (and obviously not rushing,) I'm left wondering if they just have a lot of new employees. I know it was the 4th day for the girl that took my order. Seems like even new employees should be able to read the orders before delivering them, though.
After being on the go for 10 hours, the last thing we wanted to do was deal with that for another hour. We weren't able to enjoy our meal at all for dealing with it and every person in our party were missing an item. Very aggravating!
Original review was too long so I guess I'll email that to management so they know exactly where things are going wrong. Hopefully, they can figure out where the kinks are and...
Read moreThanks for leaving the Brownie I paid $2.25 for out my bag tonight. Is it really that hard to do? It’s CFA, I expect better. There wasn’t even anyone behind me in line, was it too much to ask for someone to check it before it got walked out the door? This kind of stuff use to never happen, and if it ever did someone was going hear about it and usually make it right, but today, this is just common place, happens all the time, nobody thinks twice about it anymore, and these places are full of younger kids and young adults, so what are we teaching these people now, really, what are we? I see this as a problem that’s not getting better but rather worse with time, that carries over into other jobs and places as time goes on, and if it’s not corrected at some point, then what? What does the next generation become? I understand that people make mistakes, but why does this kind of stuff keep happening over and over again across many different restaurants including the ones you least expect it from? Ok, so it’s $2.25, big deal right, well it’s not about the money to me, it’s about a much bigger problem. Let me simplify this, per my photo, I see not one but two check lists here, but yet something was still missed, a task that should be easily completed by a elementary age student, but we have juniors and seniors, early college age people working here, that can’t follow a simple check list? The worrying thing to all this is, CFA, or any other restaurant shouldn’t be the ones teaching these people how to follow a simple check list, this should be well learned by the time they can get a job there so, where in all of this does the problem exist and when are we going to...
Read moreI travel throughout the southeast and this seriously the worst, slowest location I have ever been to. When new, I was willing to give them some leeway, wrong drink order, slow service ( waited 30 minutes for my order) but a year or more later it hasnt changed. My order printed on the bag was not the same as receipt regardless, both had un-sweetened tea. So I drive off, and what do I get? Sweetened tea. No big deal, right? Except, of course if you have a medical condition! I had to drive back, go in the store, and clearly the " shift manager" had no inclination about how certain dietary limitations and a WRONG ORDER can cause a medical emergency. She did a great job trying to keep me from a manager ( which she insisted there was no one other than herself who managed the whole store) until I asked for the Franchise owner's number. Then a manager did indeed come from out back. You need to educate the 16 year olds working at that place who dont understand that certain dietary issues, like for example diabetes, could cause a serious liability for your store when they arent...
