We order from Rinaldi's on a regular basis, about 2 to 3 times a week at our office. The only thing that really keeps us ordering is their food is pretty good. However they always mess up the order, a girl at our office is highly algeric to cheese (something we tell them EVERYTIME) and she asks for Italian dressing they always give her blue cheese. They are always leaving something off the order, or putting something in that we requested it not to be in the food, and they take so long to deliver, typically an hour, and we are about 5 minutes up the road.
The most recent occasion that has finally made us draw the line with their terrible customer service was when we ordered lunch on Eat24, requested payment by cash and they charged the credit card on file. We told the delivery guy it was a mistake and it was supposed to be cash, so they said they would reverse the charge and we paid the driver cash. Well a week later and the charge is still on our account and when I spoke to the owner he was very rude and hostile with me when I was rightly frustrated that they were paid cash and didn't care to reverse the charge. He said he had to wait an hour to talk to his delivery guy, which I don't understand why over a week later this is just only now happening. I told him that I didn't appreciate the way they were treating us as customers who order from them at least 2 to 3 times a week. He didn't care at all. WORST...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBorn and raised in New York. Iāve been out here 20 years. I canāt tell you how disappointing it is to hear a good place Claiming New Yorkā¦only to be let down. Came in for the first time(on recommendation) and thought it was the real deal. The inside atmosphere really took me home. Once again, I was let down. We donāt leave a review unless I have something positive to say. If I am not happy, I will not go out of my way, I just wonāt return to the establishment. The bread heavily resembled bread from Safeway or something. Definitely wasnāt a hero?? Hardly any meat. And ZERO CONDIMENTS!! Completely dry, even tho, the employee mentioned it would come with. From first bite, the sandwich completely came apart and fell everywhere.(pics attached) good meat, just not enough. I will say that the staff was friendly, but I canāt give the service a high rating as I feel the employee lied to me about the condiments. Based on my first experience, I would have a hard time recommending or returning a second time and itās a shame because the atmosphere really made it felt like this was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen walking by this place for years and heard the owner rave about it a few years back.. Decided to try it and I ordered an Italian sandwich.... After working in sandwich shops in New York City on the West Side and in Boston I could not believe what I was served.. The guy obviously is absolutely clueless on how to make a sandwich.. he drenched the entire roll with red vinegar.. When I picked it up it completely fell apart and everything fell out of the bottom....The cold cuts were cut way too thick and the sandwich was served meat face up..Not an Italian sandwich... Any place I ever worked that served sandwiches... you'd be fired for serving that... no warning just fired get out...They also want 75 cents extra for peppers on your sandwich.. I decided not to expend my energy anymore arguing or debating so I gave the sandwich to the dog....I paid about $20 for a 8" sandwich a bag of chips...
