Sourdough & Co. — Restaurant in Scottsdale

When I walk in, there is a person ringing folks up for food, but he kept forgetting to ask them about rewards. This took an extra 5 minutes per person to wait as they worked to correct this flaw in service. Just ask your customers if they have a rewards account, simple. He didn’t even explain or notify me of any rewards system.

My other issue is my main concern, as the prices at this place are already expensive enough. I ordered a sandwich and a cookie. The cookie was almost $3.00… Of course they forgot to put my cookie in the bag. I called and a male worker answered the phone and was very confused and said he didn’t know what to do…. He wrote down my number and said a manager would call me or text same day. Nothing happens. Next day, I don’t get a text or call all day and of course they call at 1 pm. I call back and no answer around 2:15 pm. They didn’t leave a message when they called… So, I have no idea who the manager is or who I would have followed up with. I LOVE World of Sourdough and eat here all the time. Yesterday was my first unpleasant experience. Normally the sandwiches are a 5/5 but yesterday, it just did not taste right. Also ordered online (like I normally do) and it asks if you want your order ASAP or later...I chose later because I wanted it fresh in about an hour when I was able to go that direction. After ordering online, 15 minutes later I get a text that my order is ready....45 minutes BEFORE I wanted it ready! What is the point of ordering it to be ready at a certain time if you are totally going to disregard it? I do not want my sandwich soggy and sitting there, I am assuming why this is why something tasted off. Not happy & super annoyed. Also, this location has VERY litting seating and don't go with more than 2 people, only 1 table that will fit 4 unless you want to sit outside in 115 degrees. Long line when we got there to eat in so that is why I ordered online to beat the line & not have to wait. Parking is often very difficult at this...

I love sourdough bread so I've been dying to try this place. Came on a Sunday and the three guys working were very upbeat and cheery which is refreshing for a fast casual restaurant nowadays. I got the Italian sandwich which was DELICIOUS! I got everything on it but next time I'd take off the mustard and house spread just to make it more like a normal Italian. My boyfriend got the cholula chicken and said it was amazing and he doesn't even like sourdough bread! He agreed no house spread on his as well. The bread was supper fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside! We thought the cookies looked a bit hard but on our way out I asked if they were hard or soft and then they gave us a free one to try! Let me tell you, that chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I've had. So soft in the inside!!! Really incredible service. Really great food. 10/10 experience will...
