Red House — Restaurant in Scottsdale

HORRIBLE! GIRL HAD HELLA ATTITUDE! AFTER TELLING HER IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME WE. STILL GOT NO INFO ON SPECIALS OR HOW THE FLOW OF RESTURAUNT WENT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. DO WE ORDER THEN SIT SIT AND ORDER ETC. MY BOYFRIEND AND I ORDERED ORANGE CKN DINNER AND BEEF W BROCCOLI DINNER WITH TWO WATERS.. NEVER DID GET OUR WATER CUPS, FOOD WAS BROUGHT TO THE TABLE WITHIN 10 MIN. THAT WAS THE FIRST EYEBROW RAISER FOOD WAS OBVIOUSLY OLD AND MICROWAVED BECAUSE 1 IT WAS HOT IN SOME SPOTS AND COLD IN OTHERS 2 BF W BROCC TASTED LIKE IT HAD BEEN COOKED W BENGAY OR AN OLD MOILDEWY TOWEL SUPER DISGUSTING SO OBVIOUSLY LOST MY APPETITE SO I MOVED ON TO MY RICE SO I WOULD AT LEAST HAVE SOMETHING IN MY STOMACH AND FRIED RICE HAD NO LUCK CUZ IT TOO TASTED LIKE FEET. SHOULD I EVEN BOTHER W THE EGGROLL?! I LOVE EGGROLLS HOWEVER THIS EGGROLL WAS PINK INSIDE AND IM NOT SAYING THE MEAT CUZ I DOUBT THERE WAS ANY MEAT ..THE CABBAGE WAS SO OLD OR SAT FOR SO LONG HENCE IT BEING OLD THAT IM SURE IT WAS DUE TO THE PURPLE CABBAGE BLEEDING ONTO THE OTHER CABBAGE. GIRL NEVER CHECKED ON US MUCH LESS LOOKED IN OUR DIRECTION SO TO THINK SHE WOULD ATTEMPT TO KEEP US AS FUTURE CUSTOMERS WAS GIVING HER TO MUCH CREDIT. I HOPE THAT SHE IS FAMILY TO THE OWNER OF THE ESTABLISHMENT BUT EVEN THEN I WOULD FIRE HER SNOBBY ASS THIS PLACE WAS DINGY GROSS FOOD WAS SO BAD AFTER EXCHANGING PLATES TO SEE IF I COULD STOMACH MY BF ORANGE CKN OR BURGANDY CKN THAT TASTED LIKE AIR FRESHENER WE BOTH SAID TO HELL W IT AND LEFT OUR FULL PLATES ON THE TABLE.. NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS POSSIBLE TO SCREW UP CHINESE FOOD HOWEVER IM CREDITING RED HOUSE ON ATLEAST THAT SO...

I’m from Boston where I believe is the best Chinese food. Living on the west coast for 17 years I avoid Chinese food but my Cali born wife loves terrible Chinese food out here. Scrolling through DoorDash I saw a picture of the boneless spareribs and had to dig deeper, then I saw a pic of the pork fried rice and that it was New York style, so I thought I’d give it a shot as the tastes between Boston and New York are similar. Besides the nonsense duck sauce in the little packets the food was the best I’ve had on the west coast in the last 17 years, it was not as good as my favorite spots back in Boston but it was almost right and satisfied the craving. I plan on ordering some real Boston style duck sauce online before ordering again, that should make everything all right. The boneless spareribs were great, the pork friend rice was so good, the orange chicken was good as well. We were both so happy at the end. I don’t understand the negative reviews about the food, I haven’t had any better in Cali or Arizona. First time in a long time, I’ve been to the Red house under new management and ownership definitely give this place a chance it appears they got rid of all the unfriendly people seems a lot more welcoming Amy was great her husband have not seen him in along time not sure what’s up there but Amy was amazing but her worker so so hit or miss but new ownership definitely trying flavor really hit my taste buds tonight the new ownership definitely super friendly lomain was very good omg flavors great felt like the red house that I started going to 20 years ago also there serving food on plates now instead of in a to go box makes for a better place I’ll definitely be coming back here more often and recommend people here amazing food tonight and great new cooks and staff definitely give red house another chance it’s very good again just needed a new outfit which the new ownership definitely super are really trying to...
