Giving 1 star not because of the tea (which is fine if uninspired) but because I witnessed one of the worst customer service interactions I've ever seen. While I was sipping on my tea waiting for a car repair, two young girls, perhaps 8-10 years old, came in and ordered tea. They paid and were very polite and quiet. They happened to ride in on little electric scooters. To be clear, they weren't using them in the restaurant or causing a disturbance. They stay for maybe 15-20 minutes, and as they are going to leave the cashier, who clearly saw them before, YELLS at them about the scooters. They looked so scared/embarrassed, and I felt bad for them. I'm sorry, but if your restaurant includes a bunch of kid friendly decor, cartoon characters, and markets to children, yelling at kids for being kids is absolutely unacceptable, especially when they were well-behaved. I'm sure asking politely to take the scooters outside would have accomplished the same thing. Also, I have no idea what yelling at them as they were leaving accomplished when the cashier clearly saw the scooters before and said nothing.
In short, I'd encourage you not to go here, especially if you have kids, and I'd encourage the cashier to transfer and work at Dick's Last Resort, where she'd...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been coming here for three weeks now, ever since I got brave enough to go, and it's fast become a favorite little spot to get drinks before I go on walks with my boyfriend. It tends to be a little hopping; it's not really a place you can sit down and expect not to see a few dozen people coming in and out with various levels of noise, but it has a vibrant atmosphere and it reminds me of the old ice cream shops I used to frequent back in my old hometown. There's a lot of honesty in this shop, which I really appreciate; I'm not expecting total perfection, just good products and a place I can feel comfortable being my awkward self. The employees are happy to see us come in and I've never felt unwelcome, and they seem to enjoy seeing us try new things every time. I also love that employees here seem comfortable with each other and work together well. I hope to keep coming here regularly and try everything on the menu I can! This little boba house has become a treasured part of my life in such a short time, and I'm very grateful to it. They also sell stickers, and I will be brave enough to get one soon, I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the most awful experience coming into this shop! I apparently annoyed one of the employees because she did not want to help me figure out their menu. I asked what fresh fruit they had in the drinks. Her reply was that there is nothing fresh cut up now. Then I asked which drinks were blended and she said the ones with the blue stars by them. So, I ordered 2 drinks with boba. She was training a new employee who didn't blend my drink. I pointed out that I ordered the snow smoothie. So, she remade it. Then the other rude employee comes out and got very mad and started yelling at me! She said that I ordered a milk tea not a smoothie and the matcha doesn't come in a smoothie! I looked at the menu again and pointed out that it is on the menu. Then she went on to yell at me that I needed to be more clear when I order next time. I did not engage in arguing with this Karen. I just took my drinks and left. I was furious that I left them a tip! I definitely...
