Jin's Asian Cafe — Restaurant in Sealy

I always use to love eating here and moved away. Was home visiting for the holidays and had pretty bad experience. I had asked my waiter a question about the dish I was ordering and revived a yes verifying the noodle type. He proceeded to tell me more info that really didn’t concern me much and honestly wasn’t sure why. Long story short it was not what I wanted or were the noodles what I had asked and verified. One waiter said they would switch it out and asked if I needed that dish anymore so I said no. The original waiter came back later and started going over what he had said, I stated what I had asked and his response and he started to argue with me. I finally stopped him and told him I wasn’t going to argue about it do what he has to do. In the end, I got charged for a dish that they through out and I didn’t have the choice to eat not knowing they kept it or added it back on my bill.

Also my mothers dish was horrible. What was suppose to be chicken was so strange without taste really and the texture was closer to some sort of dumpling.

Over all, surprisingly, I will not go there again. I will say the green curry...

Update: The owner recognized the mistake and accepted responsibility. Therefore, i am editing my post from 1 to 4 stars. This was an inconvenience for me in the moment but sometimes when someone has an emergency, we make that a number 1 priority and that is COMPLETELY understandable. Owner now knows to update delivery providers asap. I will continue to love this place and will be a returning customer. Sucks to do this. You guys were the only place I would eat at where I live. You guys were so nice. Until today. Worked my delivery to make about $40. All I wanted was Jins and to go to bed especially since I had a tooth extraction prior and just wanted soup and rice. Well. I ordered through Doordash, drove 20 minutes, and got there to a barely visible sign that said closed. I can't cancel the order and doordash won't refund the money. Because apparently the store processed the order. So no food to take my medication with and a day I can't eat and I will get insanely intense pain. Thank you guys for this. Next time, maybe report to your delivery providers that...

Disappointed! The food was alright, the waiter was nice and I thought I would go back to eat there in the future but then I went to check out. One of the kids (guy) at the front register was sooo rude. He was playing a video game on his phone and I asked him If I needed to pay here. He stared looked at me like I was disturbing him playing a video game on his phone. Then finally cashed me out. I asked him what game he was playing and he said "Its a Chinese game". Ok, what is what Chinese game is it? He said "You wont know, its in Chinese. Ok. So how long has this restaurant been open here? He said "No speak English". (He clearly speaks English) I told him, you dont have to be rude man and he just sat there stared, then kept playing his game. I am a customer, if I going to spend $30 and get treated like I am bothering you. I am happy to go across the street to Whatabuger, Chicken Express, Starbucks or go to 20 miles Katy to get better quality Chinese food & better service. DONT EAT HERE!...
