This is an update to the review below. Today is August 30, 2025, and my brother and his family are visiting here from Maryland. My brother grew up loving Stewarts, and he couldn't wait to eat there. He and I both loved our hotdogs with sauerkraut and mustard, his son loved his double cheeseburger, and his daughter loved her perfect grilled cheese sandwich. Of course, my brother went crazy for his large ice cold rootbeer. My brother and his kids loved staying in the car and having the food brought on a tray and placed over the driver's side window. It's a super fun place to go for lunch or dinner! My son and I ate at this Stewart's on May 24, 2025, and we loved it so much we went back again on May 25, 2024. Here's why we loved it. First, we got the window service! It's so much fun to eat that way! Our hot dogs were piping hot, and I loved mine with sauerkraut and mustard. The cheeseburgers were large, juicy, hot, and on really good toasted buns. One order of fries was definitely enough to share, and I loved that they were NOT batter dipped. For the two of us, two pretty large hotdogs, 1 order of fries, 1 huge cheeseburger, and 1 Pepsi came to about $23.00, and today that's a real bargain. I can't say enough about how great our server was. I asked him to make sure the fries were hot and fresh, and he definitely took care of that! We are lucky to have this place so close to our house, and we plan on returning again and again.

We stopped at the bay beach just to see what it was all about and saw the Stewart’s drive thru. This definitely wasn’t what I expected as we were greeted/seated and given menus restaurant style. We ordered regular chili cheese dogs, fries, and Mac n cheese bites. Everything came out quickly and was really good! I’m often picky about the chili on my hotdogs and this was perfect. We also each ordered a drink: orange n cream for my bf and cream soda for me. Both were good and we were able to get refills! (I’d love to see them get rid of the plastic straws right beside the water). Overall I’d definitely recommend!

I miss NJ...we haven't had a rootbeer float that good in many years! The food here is fresh and delicious as well...spoke to the owners briefly...one was out back cleaning the equipment, know what that means? They care and it shows! The real estate that this Stewart's is sitting on...is just unreal! Gorgeous views with plenty of seating facing the beautiful bay & there's a fishing dock too. Our new "go-to" whenever we hit town!

I came in with my family like we do so frequently, I was very upset with the way we were treated by Justine. I felt rushed when ordering our drinks & my children even felt rushed to the point that one didn't order the right drink.. Justine gave us an attitude & blamed it on being tired, There is no reason at all why we should be aware that Justine is feeling cranky because she feels fatigued.. Almost every word from Justine was an up sell, She offered us refills before we left & didnt even give us ice.. My family has agreed that it is no longer pleasant to go to Stewart's any more in the future because of the way we were treated so disrespectfully. We enjoyed Stewart's & frequently go to enjoy the service & food but with the way we were treated today, it is not worth it to spend hundreds a month on a business that treats there customers with such disrespect. I belive Justine needs to be coached on how to treat...

The food was luke warm at best. I was one of two customers there so it didn’t sit at all. The chili tasted like Stewart’s chili from when I was a kid but the hot dog didn’t taste good. The disco fries were not very tasty was the size of McDonalds small fries with cheese and gravy for$4.75. So for a very small hot dog and very small disco fries and a small mug root beer (10-12oz). I paid over ten dollars. I could have gone to acme next door and gotten a nice size tastier sub sandwich fresh for $5.00 and a large soda for 1.35. I also could have gone to McDonalds a few doors down and gotten a lg quarter pounder with cheese (tastier) bigger fries (tastier) and a med root beer value meal for $8.00-$9.00 and no tip. Do not go here. I tried it once before and it was the same but thought it was a one time bad day thing but it wasn’t. This is their food....
