McDonald's — Restaurant in Seaside

I would leave zero stars if I could. I believe this location either needs new management or needs to be shut down. So first off we had to wait 20 minutes for our food which is understandable as they were busy but when we got out food first we didn't get half of our order. They then came back 5 minutes later and gave us the rest and then gave us food that had been sitting all morning. The biscuit I received was undercooked. The bacon was almost raw the egg was not cooked all the way through and was a rubber consistency. This location is so hit miss but mostly miss. Just go to the one near Pacific Grove it is so much better and the staff is waaay more friendly. This is the third time this has happened and we will not be back. These people are making 20$ and hour now. How do they still have zero pride in their work? I've worked fast food for years and I've always cared at least a little about what I was doing because you're preparing food for people. People can get sick from you giving them food that has been sitting for hours. The English muffin I received was soggy and cold. I hate to go off like this but it's ridiculous. Their lunch and dinner is fine but never go here...

I am now going to not complain and instead say that the afternoon manager of the McDonald's in Sand City;she went above and beyond when it came to a gift card.... shhhh,😉this same store gifted me for a four day (lunch) RUINED,(lunch), RUINED (lunch), RUINED (dinner) RUINED All while my family from out of town was here visiting. The card somehow of course with my luck got bent, and because the credit card got bent they couldn't put the credit card number in the at least that is what was said I was of course disappointed and upset because that was how was going to be getting my meal but the afternoon manager somehow got on HER phone and WENT WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND HER DUTY TO MAKE IT TO WHERE I WAS ABLE TO EAT MY MEAL WITH MY HUSBAND MIND YOU WE HAVEN'T HAD MCDONALD'S FOR A COUPLE YEARS SO IT WAS KIND OF A SPECIAL THING. AS WEIRD AND CORNY THAT MAY SOUND...made it to where I was able to use the GIFT card and I just wanted to let my fellow reviewers and customers know that the sand city McDonald's is a beautiful place and Really turned a new leaf, at least with me. And let me tell u...they and I have been at each other's throats as of lately. APPLAUSE...

I visited this establishment on 4/29/22 @ 9:15a. Very clean and with the latest technology where it allows you to place an order and have no contact with the registered employee. I proceeded to order by placing my order through using the electronic kiosk, in which it instructed me to enter a table # (112) in which my food would be brought to me. This is where the service caused me to write this review. After about 5 minutes, the employee yelled out my number to come pick up my food order from the counter window. I ignored her with hopes they would bring the food to the table (as instructed). My order sat on the counter another 4 minutes until a 2nd employee yelled out louder that my order was ready for pick up. Keep in mind I was the only customer inside and there were 4 employees behind the counter joking, talking, and all starring at me to get up and come retrieve my order. When I tried to get their attention through the plexiglass, they ignored me and continued with their private discussions.

Very poor service and very unprofessional for being a renovated and fairly new establishment since...
