Tricycle Pizza — Restaurant in Seaside

Fabulous pizza! My parents, my adult sisters and I went here when we came into Monterey for the weekend. We each got a different kind, which yeah, was a little expensive... but it was so good! The crust was delicious- chewy, not too thin or too thick, flavorful (especially with the chili oil, yummmmm). The sauce was a little thin, I mean there could have been more but I also like a saucy pizza, so that's just up to taste. Cheese good, toppings EXCELLENT. We got mushroom, mushroom and sausage, spicy pepperoni, and the daily special which was a white pizza with truffle oil and specialty mushrooms. My pic has all of them side-by-side, haha! Definitely personal size, unless you're like my older sister who was so stuffed she couldn't finish hers (so I did...). The only weird thing was the Christian rock music blaring.... just turn it off, right? We don't need music playing our way through dinner.... We can talk to each...

Great pizza, I did have a comment on the pizza by the slice sign. It may have just been that we were eating a late lunch, but the sign stating pizza by the slice stated it was available from like 12-3. We arrived around 2, and the only option was an old looking hawaiian pizza. When we asked, that was the only option, so my friend and I ordered 2 regular whole pizzas. They were great and we both enjoyed them. While we were there, the sad hawaiian sat and got rejected by several patrons looking for a by the slice option. No new pizzas were made and added to it. It just sat there and dried out a little more with each passing minute. I think the sign is a ploy to get people in the door, but if not think about setting out fresh pizzas on a schedule, just cheese. Then add toppings as needed. They're not...

Absolutely horrendous experience! I ordered three pizzas online, only to arrive and find out they had given my order away to someone else. When confronted by the two women who seemed to be in charge, instead of apologizing, they had the audacity to accuse me of scamming them by trying to pick up the order twice. Might be the worst customer service on the Peninsula and their lack of accountability is appalling. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this amateur-hour pizza joint at all costs. They clearly prioritize passing the blame rather than satisfying...
