To be honest, I was slightly offended by the pricing at this restaurant. It is a hotel restaurant, and I can't say that the ambiance is amazing or anything like that. That said, it is convenient if you are staying at the Marriott, the service was good, and the food - at least the food that I had, was really delicious.
I started with the clam and crab chowder, which was creamy and had a great flavor. I then had the king salmon in beurre blanc, which was really delicious. It could be that as someone who lives in the Southeast, I just don't have the opportunity to eat king salmon a lot, but about the fish itself and the way it was prepared was top notch. If you're staying here and you don't have a car or you're just feeling lazy, I would recommend this restaurant. I actually thought of Ubering due to the price of the restaurant, But I realized that with the amount that I would probably spend on Uber, I would just be easier and perhaps cheaper to eat...
Read moreWe decided to go to this restaurant on a lark when we were staying at the hotel. Came here twice and the service was AWFUL! I get that there weren’t many staff to help but on the first day, but we were denied service and the only option was the 21 and up section before ultimately being led back to the normal section. It took us at least ten minutes to even be given water! The food was super good but it was a little overpriced, in my opinion. We thought that maybe because we came late, there wasn’t as much service but when we came in the morning for breakfast, it was even worse. We ended up leaving early because we waited for thirty minutes and no one came to take our order. It took about fifteen minutes to be seated and we had to ask for a menu after another fifteen minutes. We waited in total for about forty minutes and weren’t even served water the whole time! Overall, the service here needs to be improved and the...
Read moreI stayed at the Marriott here, just near SeaTac Airport for two nights. Both mornings, my mother and I ate breakfast here at AquaTerra. There is a buffet available, at a cost of $22. Neither one of us chose that option. There simply weren't enough options, in my opinion. I had the same thing both days - The American. Featuring two eggs (Over medium, for me), a choice of meat, hashbrowns, a bread, juice, and coffee -- for $18. It felt like a value. Both days the eggs were fantastic - and accurately cooked. The Canadian bacon was four decent sized pieces, and tasty. Mom had an omelet. Our total for the day was under $40, which felt like a good value. The food was delicious, and consistent between the two days. Service was friendly...
