Sharps RoastHouse is exactly the kind of place I absolutely love to review. Situated minutes from the airport in SeaTac, it's one of those sleeper places that locals may not even be aware of. My wife and I stopped with our 2 kids after I returned from the east coast. Upon entering the first thing you'll notice is that Sharps takes its meat, and its whiskey and bourbon very seriously. When the smell of roasting beef, pork, and aromatics hit your nose it's enough to make anyone who loves meat cooking slow and steady weep. I actually shed a tear. A meat ecstasy fueled tear of utter joy. The decor is amazing and the people working there care about every customer, despite being in an area where tourist fatigue is a real thing. But let me get to the food.... All of their pasta is made in-house as are their absolutely divine burgers. My boys both ordered the Mac-n-Cheese from the kid's menu, but there aren't any blue boxes with powdered cheese product here. The fries are hand cut and seasoned beautifully. I ordered their double cheeseburger and added a fried egg because you only live once. If I attempted to describe how perfectly balanced this burger is, you'd get bored and not look at the pictures. My wife ordered the prime rib dip and added mushrooms. Also totally butter. We also tried the pulled pork fries on the small plate menu. I'm pulling my southern card here and will testify ** TESTIFYYYYYY** that the pulled pork is legit. Absolutely approved by this old Virginia boy. As for the beverages, if it's brewed in Washington State they probably have it. They boast an extensive if not utterly unmatched selection of whiskey in the area and do offer a 21 and up bar, which is...umm .. full. They also have an area that can be reserved for large groups or functions. Be sure to check out the pictures of the food... Your eyes will tell you more than my paltry words. One last thing.... If you're into food challenges.... They have one. It's their Monster Burger Challenge. 2.5 lbs of their awesome burger blend with every topping imaginable. Eat in in 5 minutes or less, and it's free and you get your name on THE MONSTER BURGER WALLLLLLLL!!! If you just want to share one with a table of people, it's $40. In summation....if you're in SeaTac and need a great experience. Go. Also, Terrance was our server and hw made the entire experience. Professional, friendly, and completely accommodating. He even brought the kids a little scoop of their in house made ice cream. You won't be disappointed.

I canāt say enough about Sharps. It was recommended by the front desk at the Hampton in where I have been staying. The hotel gave me a coupon for Sharps. Those donāt usually sway me but it did keep the name of the place in my mind and I didnāt see anything else catching my fancy in the area. Upon entering I noticed the atmosphere was inviting to the casual diner yet also more upscale. Instead of getting a table I decided to sit at the bar. I was quickly greeted by the friendly and incredibly knowledgeable bartender and her trainee. They were discussing drink measurements and portions but never missed a beat on the orders and always gave me and the others immediate attention. I decided to order the American double smash burger (I hope thatās the correct name). I have to say, from trying different foods around the world and resorting to burgers when indecisive, this was one of the best culinary decisions I have ever made. I donāt want to find an error as I may have forgotten a GOLDEN burger Iāve had in the past but I can truthfully say I canāt remember the last time I had a burger this good. It was excellent in every way. The rest of the staff were all super friendly too. One person, who I assume might be a manager, after expressing my delight with the burger, gave me full details on how it is prepared. There was much pride and even love in that description. They have a drink-wheel next to the bar with a 30-minute timer next to it. Every half hour they spin the wheel and whichever drink it lands on gets discounted for the next 30 minutes. Everyone there, staff and diners, appeared happy. I noticed smiles on families and lone diners as they exited as I was walking back from the restroom which had an incredible collection of framed āFar Side Galleryā comics on the wall in the stall. I was so pleased with the whole experience that I ordered a dessert to take back to the front desk attendant who recommended Sharps to me. With no surprise I highly recommend Sharps RoastHouse to everyone! All ages! Itās not the largest menu Iāve seen but what they have will definitely impress. It is very close to the airport so if youāre flying into SeaTac and have a lengthy layover, it will be worth the uber ride.

We were in town the night prior to going on an Alaskan cruise - 6.22.22. We were staying at a property near the airport and wanted to find a place to eat relatively near the hotel since we were going to be walking. We were so lucky to have chosen Sharps Roasthouse, and we were even more lucky to have Chris N as our server that day. We went early (as we are from the East Coast). We were there just before 4pm. Chris was super friendly!! I really wish there were servers like him where we live, they could all learn a thing or two from him on WHAT service truly is!! He made us feel welcome, didnāt have a problem with answering all the questions I had about the establishment itself, the process of making their vodka, where he was from etc. Just a really sweet individual and provided excellent service. I had two scratch Martiniās which were as the title suggests, made from the vodka they make on site. My husband had two Pilsners. Food - OMG, I wish we wouldāve shared a dish, it was so much food. Had we been staying longer, we definitely wouldāve boxed those bad boys up and eaten them again. My husband had the Smoked Brisket Mac and Cheese, and I had the Applewood Smoked Pork BBQ Mac and Cheese. The pasta - made from scratch and was oh so amazing. Could you please come to Florida and open a place up here? :) It was so very delicious. Then despite being full, Chris suggested the Campfire Rocky Road Pie, again, so very good, and we left a lot - we were just so full. LOL If we ever go back to Seattle, we will definitely make it a point to stop here again. But, seriously - could you open up a place in Brevard County in Florida, its the Space Coast - we NEED good restaurants and fantastic service!!

We discovered Sharps when it was recommended by the staff at the hotel where we stayed the night before an early morning flight out of Seatac. The aroma of grilling meat and oak barrels teased us as, in spite a hungry crowd, we waited just 20 minutes for a table, The decor was an interesting combination of mountain rustic meets industrial chic. Our server came within 5 minutes, followed soon by hot cornbread. I grew up in the deep South and my granny would've been jealous of whoever baked this amazing cornbread; light, not cakey, with a hint of honey in each buttery mouthful. Since we'd taken the hotel shuttle, my husband ordered a Heffe beer, but I ordered the Smoked Oak and Cherry Manhattan. Made with Bar Boss Bourbon and smoked at the table, the drink was so smooth it was hard not to gulp. They did not skimp on the bourbon and I was soon relaxed, giddily happy even after a stressful travel day. The avocado toast came next and I wondered how they'd removed the bitterness of the arugula. The vinaigrette was sharp yet sweet, enhancing the flavors rather than overpowering them. The crispy french fries had a dusting of garlic and pepper and I stole so many from my husband's plate he finally gave me a stern look. At first, the mac-n- cheese seemed dry, not as creamy as the homemade mac-n-cheese I've tried at other restaurants. By the third bite, I declared it the best I've ever had, with just the right combination of sharp and medium cheddar. No rich sauce attempting to shield cheap, overcooked pasta because their house pasta was excellent, dynamic in flavor, & perfectly cooked. I wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often. I can't wait for our next trip!

What a fantastic way to start off a trip to Seattle! This restaurant was close to the hotel and had great reviews so we quickly decided to head here on a Wednesday night. I couldn't believe how busy it was- always a good sign- but we still got in within fifteen minutes (under the estimated wait time). The hostess was extremely sweet and had awesome manners. Our server was hilarious, offered great recommendations and I'm so sad I forgot her name!! The food and drinks came out hot and in a timely manner even though it was packed. I got the bbq pulled pork mac n cheese which was absolutely incredible. The pulled pork was sweet, fall apart, with just a bit of peppering to even out the flavours. I probably could've eaten the whole plate if I wasn't trying to be good!! My guest ordered a big salad which was served in a large beer glass and then gently poured into a bowl right in front of us. Another unique piece was the cocktails were shaken and poured at the table as well- very cool touch! The only reason I didn't give it the full five stars is the front area is extremely cramped as well as the parking lot, and I would say it's just a little pricey. Even though the quality and service is awesome, I suspect *some* upcharging because of its proximity to the hotels etc. All in all, great experience and would definitely recommend!!
