RBG Bar and Grill — Restaurant in SeaTac

We were staying at a local hotel and decided to try a different restaurant so we came to RBG Bar and Grill the service was average nothing good nothing bad the food was average nothing good nothing bad my salmon was extremely overcooked but it all had good seasoning and then our waiter gave us the bills and on the bill there is an extra charge when I asked what it was it was gratuity that they added on get nowhere on the menu did it say that they would be adding a 20% gratuity to each of our bills I am a good Tipper especially when you earn your tip and give us Stellar customer service but the service I received was just average and definitely not worth 20% for the $41 that I paid for a dinner and a soup definitely not worth the cost I would find somewhere else with better food...

Food was good but service was really disappointing. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the server didn’t check in at all to make sure everything was alright or ask if you wanted a refill when you had an empty glass. They took my food and beverage order and said nothing else to me, dropped the check when they thought I was done, and immediately walked away. I was one of only three guests in the restaurant, so I’m really surprised I wasn’t checked in on at all. Not a single word was said to me once I placed my order. Nothing upon delivery of the food, nothing while I was eating, nothing when they took my plate, nothing when they dropped the check, and nothing when I left. I felt like my server didn’t want me there. It was really uncomfortable and I’ve never had that happen...

I place my order to go, step away for a bit, come back and the host, wasn't sure if my order had even been placed... then I wait another 30 mins. My order is finally done, I ask where is the dessert, "you'll come back for that?" - huh? No, I'd like it now, we don't have that, oh, ok, what dessert do you have? "None". Why was I not told that from the beginning? I spend 22 on a dinner that barely filled the to go box. Not quite up to par I'd say. The mashed potatoes were pretty good, wish there was more chicken with the chicken skewers dinner - it was enough chicken...
