The food was good, but the service was AWFUL! After we sat down, it took 12 minutes before our server came up to us and instead of saying hello and introducing herself she immediately asked "how many are in your party?" We answered and she left the table. No greeting or 'what can I get you while the others arrive?' Just left. We then had to wait another 5 min before she came back and we could order coffee. After she brought coffee, the rest of our party had arrived and she asked for drinks but it was another 15 min before she came back to take our order.

She spoke so softly we couldn't hear anything she said. She never checked to see if we wanted more coffee before our food came out. She never checked on us when we were eating. We tried to flag her down multiple times after everyone had finished their meal. It was 20 min later before we were able to get the check and pay. We were a table of 6 and were shocked we didn't get better service considering how large of a tip we could leave.

The restaurant was well staffed and we saw 3 other servers in the small place handling tables just fine. We also watched the table next to us (who had a much better server) get greeted, checked on, and TURNED OVER 3 times with different diners while we were there because that's how long and how bad our server was. If the place wasn't cute and the food pretty good, I'd have given it a 1 star because of how bad our service was.

IT TOOK 2 HOURS to dine there and we had a reservation. So it wasn't like we waited to be seated, they were well staffed, food came out at reasonable times for all the tables around us and many tables...

I rarely complain about restaurants, I’ve worked in them, have had family and friends who worked in the industry and even owned restaurants I get that’s it’s hard especially in 2025. And maybe we just caught on off day. Staff was friendly enough to get us seated at the bar but right away but it then took nearly 25 minutes to get our order in as one bartender scrambled for dear life to cover the entire restaurant while his dilettante co-worker served liked 1 person in the time he served 10. This is a mgmt and personnel coaching issue not blaming our bartender, then after waiting for our food for 45 minutes I got the Cypriot plate (pictured) costing $18!! I’m sorry I know things have gotten expensive but when you say you’re giving me a kofta and halloumi plate I imagine a few pieces of each. One tiny meatball and as often as not kofta are a whole log of meat, and the stingiest little piece of halloumi. They couldn’t even fill this out with a few bits of bread. Some advice to mgmt if you can’t make margins on this meal take it off the menu or at least put in small plates or appetizers, this is listed in their regular breakfast dishes and so I assumed it would be a light but reasonable serving. Food tasted good enough and my companions smoked trout rice bowl was reasonably good and a reasonable serving, and they do have a great atmosphere. Felt very much like they still have new restaurant issues to work out in menu planning and staffing, which is a shame it’s a cool concept and I think the food has potential but I will be waiting awhile before I...

Went here on Sunday for a late brunch with three others. The dining room looked to be about 75-80% full. Seated immediately, great atmosphere.

I would go back and give this place another shot, but this particular Sunday it was an average experience. Our server forgot some things and we had to remind her a couple times. She was very nice and perhaps they were understaffed, so would give the benefit of the doubt there.

The biggest bummer was how long we waited for our food, exceeding a half hour, closer to 40 minutes. We're all reasonable folks but considering the limited occupancy it seemed fair to expect our grub sooner. We also didn't get any communication from our server regarding the delay (which helps a lot), nor anything on the menu to indicate a longer than usual delivery. It was if that timing was normal, which I find hard to believe.

Overall a pleasant outing but for all I'd heard about this place the above soured...

I was thrilled to try this place and was wicked let down. The service is excellent and I liked the space itself but so much of the food was meh. It all looked and sounded so amazing. The larb Brussels were awesome.nwe also got the fried cheese curds. They were alright. I ordered avocado toast, it was all so bland. My partner got a trout bowl thing. Really liked the seasoning on the trout. Friend got a farrow bowl w buttermilk chicken (thought it would be crispy and maybe fried) it was baked and dry. Went a second time to give it another chance. I got ricotta pancakes and the texture was a mess. Friends got the spinach mushroom and the bacon Benedict's. They said they were also meh. Which was real let down at more than $20. Overall, we've only really liked one app style dish out of 8+ different dishes We probably won't keep trying. I don't really recommend this place.

TLDR; food is a hit or miss depending on what you order, but it’s a lovely place to get food. We came in for a late brunch and got a table right away, which I was not expecting. We ordered a matcha latte, and 2 cappuccinos along with the Aussie Mezze platter (2 ⭐️), but ricotta pancakes with the chickpea patty (another 2⭐️), mini brisket Sami (4⭐️), mini burger (4 ⭐️) and the seasonal soup (4 ⭐️). The platter was an assorted of great and awful - the garlic naan is clearly fried not baked, the cauliflower kofta is lovely, the beet yogurt is nice too, pickled grapes are weird. The eggs that came with the pancakes were runny even though I asked for them to be well done and the chickpea patty was oddly sour. The pancakes themselves were so-so. The soup, sammies and burgers on the other hand were really good! The cappuccino is good too
