TLDR: Scummy, scammy, undercooked, made wrong, and made us pay twice for two pizzas, making us spend nearly $200 on two pizzas! Do not order online!!! They will take ur money immediately and potentially cancel your order, no quick refund! Do not eat here until they get there act together.

Whole story: Really sad to write this review but I feel like I need to warn ppl looking to go here..

I tried this place in June, liked it, and coming back to it in August was a crazy difference in everyway. It was really good my first time there but my most recent trip was actually abysmal...

We ordered online and paid $80+ for 2 pizzas. Our order was cancelled within 10 minutes, but their website still took our money! And their email states they wont refund us for up to 5 business days! Scummy.

We tried calling them to get answers as everywhere on the internet showed they were open. We called twice and no one answered. We decided to drive 15 min into downtown to see if they were closed. NOPE. They were open. They had one poor lady running the bar and being a waitress on a weekend. She told us that unless she hit confirm on the online order when it came in, it just cancels automatically, and she was so overwhelmed running the place she couldn't get to it in time.

K. We decide to reorder our pizzas and after taxes and an okay tip the price jumped to $90+!! For 2 pizzas!! Their website had a small discount on the orders that was not honored in person.

We get home and discover that both pizzas had little to no pizza sauce on them at all and were immensely underbaked. My pizza in particular was damn near white from how undercooked it was.

Really, really disappointing and frustrating experience. An absolute waste of nearly $200 for two shitty pizzas. Until they get their stuff together, dont eat here. Just go to papa johns...

Edit: the refund came 24 hours later for us, but I imagine it'll be...

My wife & I have visited this joint quite a few times during our visits to Seattle & have never had a bad experience.... until last night. We brought a group (7) in for a bite & some drinks after a show.

Server could not be bothered to peel away from the group at the bar & when he did, it was very apparent he was intoxicated. So much so that he couldn't split the check, he couldn't remember the order, he couldn't host in general. We tried to spend $100+ but he genuinely couldn't keep it together & get our orders right.

Also, this place moves to a slice only business model after some hour of the night. This is not advertised anywhere. We were told to ignore the menu & to order slice only, which he couldn't tell us what slices were available.

The slices themselves are just reheated slices made from some pizza earlier. I was able to observe the guy doing everything in his power to slide the pizza in & push the buttons to reheat.

To top this off, in his drunkscapades, he pleaded with us to understand that it's only him & while it began as slow, he got inundated with a half full business & clearly was in over his head, that's on management. Sad to see this establishment on the down trend. A little transparency & staff accountability could have saved...

Every time I try giving this place another chance, they let me down. Their Pizza is doughy and soggy, and their pasta is overcooked. I got spaghetti alfredo last night, and was totally disappointed. I can accept alfredo being made with spaghetti instead of fettuccine, but when I got home with my order, there was absolutely no sauce. I walked all the way back to the restaurant to have the order remade, and still didn't get pasta with alfredo sauce. They were clearly unable how to use alfredo sauce for this dish for whatever reason, and instead topped it with some strange concoction that tasted like butter, lemon juice, and grated cheese. The remade dish wasn't particularly bad, but when you order something with alfredo sauce, you should get something with alfredo sauce unless the restaurant explains the reason, and you are okay with it. If it were my restaurant, I would want to keep the customer satisfied by not only remaking the order, but offering an additional side or some dessert. Either way, I'm not sure if I want to give these guys yet...

I am regretfully posting this because I really want this to be good pizza. Unfortunately, every time we have ordered from here, something is wrong. Somehow the pizza is simultaneously burned, and undercooked. The most recent pizza we got was burned to carbon on some of the edges, while the cheese seemed like it was melted JUST enough to call it cooked it was still just white on half the pie, barely browned and not at all bubbly. The underside was just...undercooked. Enough to be dry, but...no. Also, this pizza showed up as practically flatbread. Every time we order, and we pay for sides of ranch, they do not show up. Please do better. The pizza is so close to being good, but this is the 3rd time we have ordered it, and the third time there was something the just made it not worth the effort. Sadly, this is the last time we will try Belltown Pizza.

Service: mid, waitress was not attentive and seemed visibly distracted, possibly even under the influence of a particular psychoactive plant. Food: just look at the photo. I think it speaks for itself. But I'll speak anyway. It was pretty underwhelming considering it took 25 minutes for me to receive something that looks like it was made from Great Value shredded cheese out the bag, unseasoned chicken, and bow tie pasta from Walmart. It's not even fully melted or mixed in with the pasta - which is not macaroni btw. I honestly wanted to just ask for a refund at that point but I tried to give it a chance, with disappointing results. 3/10 would not recommend. The only way I'd come back would be if I'm with someone I really don't like.

Cold pizza, unfortunately. Delivery in Seattle is notoriously expensive, and this was no exception. I ordered a 12" pizza on gluten free crust and a small salad, and after taxes, fees, and a decent tip, my total was over $56. I needed to stay in with a sick kiddo, so delivery seemed worth it this time. In general, the pizza seems good. Unfortunately, it was cold upon delivery, and as we're in a hotel, we have no way to heat it up. Gluten free crust tend to harden when cold, and this is no exception. Very crunchy around the edges. I don't know if this is an issue with Slice, maybe. When the delivery driver called me the caller ID said Doordash, so maybe it virtually changes hands a couple times before someone picks it up.
