We hosted our Celebration of Women in Sports event at Block 41, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and deeply supportive. The venue itself is stunning—modern, versatile, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate both intimate moments and large-scale celebrations with ease. What truly sets Block 41 apart is their unparalleled customer service. The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was executed flawlessly. They were responsive, flexible, and genuinely invested in the success of our event. From initial planning through to day-of logistics, we felt supported every step of the way. Their preferred vendor partners were equally impressive creative, reliable, and in perfect sync with the venue’s high standards. It felt like a true collaboration, and the result was an unforgettable evening for all involved. Dsquared and Blue Danube specifically. We highly recommend Block 41 to anyone looking for a venue that combines elegance, functionality, and world-class service. It was the perfect space to celebrate powerful women in sports, and we can’t wait to return.

We loved EVERYTHING about having our wedding at Block 41 in August 2022! The venue itself is stunning -- its "industrial chic" aesthetic was exactly what we were looking for and gives you lots of options to customize the look if you wish. It also includes many built-in amenities that help take your event to the next level (our DJ said it was an A/V dream!). The fact that Block 41 has two floors as well as the outdoor courtyard made it the perfect place to host our ~275 guests with everything running seamlessly. Beyond the venue itself, Heli, our point of contact, was a dream to work with -- responsive, flexible, friendly and experienced. She helped us with many aspects of the planning process and was there making sure everything went perfectly on the big day. We would 100% choose Block 41 again, and we recommend it to anyone looking to have a beautiful event in a super convenient Belltown location!

We hosted our wedding here with 260+ guests, a food truck, and a live band and it was AMAZING! The ability to use both floors PLUS the courtyard made this venue equally spacious but intimate depending on what was needed and what your guests were looking for! Don was such a great person to work with. He is so helpful, supportive, and is very solution-oriented. I cannot say enough great things about him. He truly looks out for you and is a great host! Block 41 definitely made our dreams come true and we can't recommend it enough. Thanks Don!

My husband and I absolutely loved having our wedding at Block 41 in July 2023. The venue is stunning, and the customizable lighting enhances its beauty. The space is huge, and we were fully able to utilize the two floors and outdoor courtyard for our wedding. We had the ceremony upstairs with the abundance of natural light that just made everything feel warm and welcoming, then had guests go downstairs for cocktail hour while the upstairs space was flipped from ceremony to dinner/reception. The downstairs space is fully customizable with LED lighting, and we were able to create a super cool atmosphere with the lighting and music from the DJ. Guests absolutely loved the outdoor courtyard and the Seattle mural was a big hit for photos throughout the night. The built-in amenities, including private “getting ready” space, full prep kitchens on each floor, hookups for A/V equipment, and furniture, were absolutely amazing, and no other venue we researched for our wedding even came close to having what Block 41 offers. Block 41 is beautiful and offers so many options for hosting events/weddings large or small. Beyond the space itself, the staff were absolute life-savers throughout the process. Heli was so helpful in providing so much information and advice that was invaluable in our planning process. She is responsive, flexible, and experienced, and was a dream to work with. She was also there to help make sure everything went smoothly during our rehearsal and our wedding day. We would ABSOLUTELY choose Block 41 again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an...

I attended an absolutely wonderful catering/event showcase here last night -- it was a chance for guests to enjoy the event space and sample items from Block 41's preferred caterers and vendors (valet, live music, sweet treats, photographers, audio/visual, florists, and so on -- all were on display, some with little take-home goodies like s'mores-covered giant marshmallows on a stick! Check out the website for more details). It is a gorgeous space, in a great location, with a lot of unusual little details, one example being the secret garden in the Courtyard; definitely had a European vibe to it that I loved. Would highly recommend this space for anyone needing to host an event -- corporate, private, even photo shoots (like making a yoga video).

The caterer sponsoring the event -- Cameron Catering -- in particular was serving absolutely delicious Middle eastern cuisine of chicken tagine with couscous (the theme last night was "A Global Street Fair). One thing that really struck me was their slogan, "Where Food Celebrates Life".

TL DR: I have missed out on many celebrations over the years due to various health issues, the cocoon of being a stay at home parent, but most importantly - I used to decline invitations to things like this out of fear of looking the wrong way, saying the wrong thing, or what have you. The magic of the evening has really gotten me excited about putting myself out...

This space is beautiful with lots of character, and natural light. The outdoor courtyard with the Seattle mural was a nice touch to the vibe of our event. The Block 41 staff (Beth, Heli, Claire, and Samantha, Blue Danube) were all lovely to work with and professional through and through. They very genuinely seemed to want for our event to be a success and to support us in order to make it so. Be aware if you are considering an event here, that Block 41 have a list of vendors they prefer clients use for their events which may or may not be an issue for your event, but it's worth noting if you already have certain vendors booked or in mind to use. There is further info about it on their website, but as with anything just be sure to ask a lot of questions about all details when event planning. Other reviewers have made mention of not feeling safe in the neighborhood, but for those who are already city dwellers, sadly I don't think it seemed any more so than other parts of Seattle or in certain areas of other major cities. As the owner previously responded to another reviewer, it is part of a much larger conversation within Seattle and the world as a whole which is beyond Block 41's control. We hired a security guard and had no issues. This is a charming event space with lots of personality and well worth considering for weddings, parties, conferences, and events...
