Pros: the bar tender was great! I would have given a better review if he was our primary server! My husband loved his lamb Benedict and said it was delicious. The bartender noticed I didn't drink my first drink much and comped it - which was really nice. I wasn't going to say anything but he persisted and got me something else. Cons: our waitress has a stank face and baditude. Maybe I didn't have enough tattoos? I don't know... She walked past our empty plates several times as well as our credit card on the check. when my husband asks about the special fee let us know it wasn't available... Because it was clearly crossed off. my husband asked if that was due to a particular ingredient because he really liked the combination of most of the things and she reiterated they were out... Because it was crossed out. when I couldn't have something due to an allergy, she made absolutely no recommendations or suggestions for replacements or other menu items. The restaurant was absolutely freezing! My husband and I both put our coats on and we're still cold. It's September. We should not have been cold in Seattle with our coats on in September. We ate our food and then crossed the street to the bait shop bar. We have a much more enjoyable experience there. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the food was good as well as the drinks. if you are thinking about coming here, I recommend crossing the street and just going to the bait shop bar. It's a different vibe, but a better one. The people are friendlier. The drink list is compribly sophisticated - maybe more so. They might not have orange water infused syrup, but I will take nice people and bar food over want to be fanciness with a bad...
Read morecame here after dinner to celebrate my engagement, and loved the vibes. Dark, sultry, romantic vibes. We didn’t think that music played matched the vibe (early 2000s pop mixed with old school country?), but that’s just opinion. Anyways, I accidentally spilled my drink on the table. My fiancé let him know we spilled and needed napkins. The server came over, immediately annoyed, (we had purchased plenty food and 2 each drinks prior) and told us to get up and move to another table. I asked again id I could please have some napkins as I had a white skirt on and felt uncomfortable since I had spilled the drink on my skirt. He gave so much attitude and asked me to get up and move tables and refused to give me napkins. Once we moved ourselves and my wet items to the other table since there was no napkins, he whispered under his breath something along the lines of “I’m the bad guy…” while we were obviously in ear shot. He was absolutely so rude we were shocked. He did not offer to comp the drink or provide a new one, although nearly the entire drink was spilled. I rate this place 3 stars still because the vibe of the place is good, and the drinks were tasty. But the attitude and callousness was completely...
Read moreYesterday evening I walked up to order a drink with a friend, and the bartender said "dinner time?" Which I was understandably confused about, considering I didn't know that my friend (who got there and ordered their drink before me) told him we had dinner plans afterward. Because of this, I misheard him and thought he said "take your time" sarcastically while I was searching for my ID. I laughed and told him what I thought he said at first, thinking he would also find it funny. I was just making conversation and explaining why I looked confused initially. His smile instantly turned into an angry expression, and his response was to condescendingly say "Wow, you're super paranoid, that's really sad” and walk away rolling his eyes. My friend and I were blown away at how rude and judgmental he was. I was genuinely so taken back and couldn't believe it, neither could the people sitting at the bar around me. I felt both hurt and mortified. Will definitely never be returning. Thanks for the horrible customer...
