My husband and I found this place randomly, once we decided on what to have for dinner. Admittedly, I lived in Arizona for 18 years and never had Pozole. The Bartender helped with advice automatically, after noticing I was hesitating (and not knowing where to start). The food was all really great, service was perfect, and we loved all the unique choices and funny dish names! I noticed they never bugged us about another drink (I didn't want one) or more chips, which was a refreshing change from an americanized Mexican/Latino restaurant. Everyone was definitely working as a team, and I was able to re-appreciate the authenticity of everything, from how they all communicated in Spanish, to the (possibly manager?)'s delightfully thick accent. He was extremely knowledgeable about food, and also told us about the menu specials, hence my Pozole. The churros were FRESH BAKED, absolutely perfect for the hankerin I've been having for them. Definitely will come back!

My girlfriend and I have been here one-time before we couldn't remember if we liked it or not. The waitress/bartender was really rude making preconceived notions towards my level of intoxication and promptly told me I would only be able to order one drink while dining which was cool because this place is will run you about 35 bucks per plate with a drink . The food is really really good the atmosphere is authentic. The combination of it all including service, price, general comfort while dining I still give it 3. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my girlfriend ordered the Carne asada plate. We also had chips in which they actually charge for and guacamole which is also another charge . The fajitas were super good and so was everything on the Carne asada plate. The guacamole and salsa were bland and left me wondering why I paid $9 dollars for them.

I enjoyed lunch here! My torta was a little dry for my liking but the staff was happy to accommodate my request for a chicken torta even though it isn't on the menu. It is a little odd that it didn't come with a side of any kind. I was quite happy with the chipotle salsa that came with chips to start, usually not a fan of chipotle but this one was tasty! The children's enchilada plate was the right portion for maybe 3-5 year olds. I think it's tacky to charge extra for things like more chips or a side of sour cream. On a more positive note, my mango agua fresca was delicious (a rare flavor to find) really refreshing and not overly sweet. Loved the chunks of mango inside. The service was friendly but sporadic.

We walked in and I thought it was a bit of a hole in the wall...it wasn't. The waiter came over immediately (admittedly, we were the only ones there), and got us going with chips and salsa. He knew the menu inside and out (and it was no small menu with tons of stuff I'd never heard of...or could pronounce).

I ordered something that I'd never heard of and thought I'd be in for a treat. I was disappointed when it arrived as it was merely a quesadilla...disappointed until i took a bite. I'm not sure if it really was just a quesadilla or if it really was something different, but it was delicious and I enjoyed every bite.

I bought some carry out for others, and it came quickly and promptly.

The only issue i had was that the menu was online (had to scan a QR code)...but that seems to be the trend these days...I guess I just need to...
