Produce is terrible. Carne should be reviewed by health department. Hit or miss with how fresh/variety of pan dulce. This place is good if you need packaged or processed Latino staple goods (galletas, chips, queso, soda, tortillas) but nothing is fresh or locally made. For the record this is my favorite stule of restaurant. 😊 My boyfriend and I were sad, and sulky customers that visited in August when you couldn’t get on I-5 from I-90. It was close to closing and they’d run out of rice and beans. The customer service they used to deal with me and my grumpy mood blew me away. They worked so hard to find something I'd eat. Meh. It's a downgrade from the Asian market that used to be there. Selection of useful grocery items is much less. Fresh fruit and veggies section was sad and minimal. It's basically a really big mini-mart, plenty of snacks, soda and beer. I think the Mexican restaurant across the street, the one that used to be delicious, is moving into the store, too.
