Frosted and Fizzy by Aluel Cellars — Restaurant in Seattle

We are currently on a sailboat cruising the Puget Sound, San Juan Islands, and Canadian waters. In early June, we stopped in Ballard and met up with a friend for a birthday tasting at Aluel Cellars in Ballard. Although we've had their wine before on many occasions (I am a member of their wine club), this was our first visit to one of their tasting rooms. It did not disappoint. I've been here a few times and it's a cute spot! I really like all their wine. They do flights and glasses and have some snacks. I have done a flight the last 2 times, which was a white, rose and 2 reds! I also got a class after and several bottles to go. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming! The tasting room is contemporary and cozy; elegant enough to bring a date, yet casual enough to feel comfortable coming as you are. The wines are smooth, delicate, balanced, and well-priced. Several of their wines have won awards in the past few years.
