I’m so happy with this meal, I’m writing the review as I sit in the restaurant. We were in Seattle for one day, and decided to visit the Space Needle. Google lead us to this little gem, sitting right across the street. We ordered the gyro with a Greek side salad, and both were absolute perfection, far exceeded the expectations we had for a quick service Greek restaurant. The salad was a perfect ratio of greens, onions, tomatoes, and feta with an amazing, balsamic and herb dressing. The gyro is the best I’ve had on this side of the Atlantic, excluding a few I had it in Europe… and we love Mediterranean food, so we have sampled a lot. The pita was toasted to perfection, but soft and malleable and tasty. The gyro meat was “eat with your eyes closed” good! Everything else… Just such a tasty combination. On top of that, very reasonable prices for downtown Seattle, and very, very friendly service!

After spending a couple of hours in the Space Needle & having devoured a bagel up there, I really wanted to have something of a light lunch sorts. Just across the road saw this Grecian restaurant & decided to walk in. Service was decent, though slow & the restaurant was vegetarian friendly. I opted for a Fried eggplant on pita, with salad. Though the portion was just right it was more than filling & the extra Fries with Feta just could not be finished. The eggplant was well cookies& Fried, had a wonderful twist to it. Will try visit here again, mmmm. May be, or maybe not.

I thought the food was good and I’d recommend it if in the area. I had the Gyro sandwich combo, I ordered it with a Greek salad that comes with but they brought fries instead. Not a huge deal as I was hungry. The beef Gyro was nice sized and very tasty. It was a tad bit greasy though. The fries were basic crinkle cut frozen fries so just mediocre. It is pretty small for indoor dining but ample tables outside too. The value of the place compared to other eating places nearby and the good food makes a stop here worth it.

Unfortunately, this was not the best restaurant experience and this will be a long-winded and honest review. First, you need to order before you can sit down…The women at the front wasn’t the friendliest. Second, we had to seat ourselves to tables that weren’t clean. We ended up moving tables around to seat our group of 7. Third, the chicken strips/fries (for the kids) - the chicken wasn’t cooked properly and were still frozen inside plus the fries looked and tasted old. They ended up re-frying the chicken strips and returning it with the cold wilted fries. The Horiatiki Salad was not worth being the $1 extra salad. It was essentially a huge bed of spring salad (many pieces wilted and brown) with 4 olives, 1 banana pepper and barely any other veggies. The chicken souvlaki plate was also disappointing…1 skewer and old fries (no rice or salad included). Seems unusual for a Greek restaurant platter. Overall, super disappointed in this restaurant’s service, food and atmosphere and although conveniently located near the space needle would highly suggest finding another...

[As of mid-June 2023] Do NOT order from an online third-party service (e.g. Seamless) at this restaurant! Apparently they accept orders and take your money but do not "receive" the order and so they won't make your food and do not offer refunds. How's that for an extra revenue stream?

Generally, I'm bummed that this place seems to have gone downhill a bit. I'd been coming here for 8 years, always saw the same owner and workers. Now apparently there are new owners, and as I set for ~15 minutes waiting for food that would never be made, I noticed that the size of the gyros and main course portion sizes have shrunk by about 50%, though menu prices have stayed the same or even slightly increased.

After sitting for 15 minutes one of the new owners asked if I needed help, and then explained she had no idea I'd placed an online order, despite my card being charged/confirmation email, etc. from GrubHub/Seamless. Another owner came and said to re-order and ask for a refund from the third party. Instead of jumping into a long line I left and don't...

I really hate to do this, but people need to be warned. We walked in for lunch and once we started ordering, I instantly regretted our choice. They were pretty much out of everything, only had gyros. No rice, so I figured I'll order dolmas and get rice from there for our little one. To my horror, the girl starts opening a big tin can of dolmas right in front of us! We should have canceled our food and got our money back. Over $100 flushed down the drain for four people. The dolmas were taken from the can and onto a paper plate. The wine tasted like mold. The most disgusting felafel you'll ever eat. Pitas most likely frozen and reheated (they were unloading their groceries right in front of us, so we saw how much was pre-made and simply reheated - my guess, all of it). If I was the owner, I would be embarrassed to pass this trash off as authentic Greek food. Absolutely not worth it. At this point I'm convinced if you want real and amazing Greek food, go to Chicago. This place is a complete...
