Herfy's Burgers - Georgetown — Restaurant in Seattle

I went in and ordered a milkshake and fries. I watched the cook useouse histhis whole hand to open the bag meant for my fries without a glove. I asked the guy in the front to ask the cook to open a new bag without touching the inside. The cook then came up to the front to talk to me. I repeated my question and he stated that he can't put on a new glove and that if I don't want it I can have my money back. I said I don't want my money back I want my food I'm just asking you to open my fry bag without putting your whole ungloved hand inside. He said no you get your money back. I asked the cashier if I could have my milkshake and refund my money for the fries and the cook said no you get nothing. He gave me my money back and said bye and waved me off. The customer service is very lacking and the cook was very rude. I will NEVER go back there again! One would think that during the time of a pandemic you would take extra precaution and glove up but what would you expect he didn't even have his mask...

I happened to be at the Wells Fargo next door around lunch time so I thought I would try this Herfy's. Unlike the one near me in Renton, near IKEA, this one is not sitting well with my stomach. I got what i usually get from the one by my house: the club sandwich with curly fries and a small side of zucchini.

A plus that none of it tasted greasy, but a negative that it is very much "kicking back" after finishing eating, and I'm getting the feeling it isn't going to stay down much longer... My stomach is all over the place from it...

Food tasted good but is not settling in well. Counter clerk is great, with a great energy and attitude. I did notice that the place could use a bit of a cleaning. It doesn't look bad when you are in there, but I noticed a couple of sticky surfaces on my way out that shouldn't be sticky. I was in the area on my way to the airport and wanted something quick. Immediately I liked all of the posters on the walls for local events. I didn’t expect such a home town feel in a strip mall burger place. I waited a bit for someone to notice me but not too long; there seemed to be only one man there. He made my burger quickly and it came out exactly the way I like it. Perfect char on a smash patty, mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle, LTO and American cheese. $10 with tip.
