Just Poké U-District — Restaurant in Seattle

Update 2025: It's been a few years, and the place has declined steadily 😞. Price up, food quality down, portions down, and staff seem overworked. Seems like a lot keeps happening behind the scenes, so here's hoping they pick things up.

So far, love this place! It's got a chill, clean vibe. Bright colors, easy music, and good lighting.

Food is great. Wide variety of main options (including tofu and sweet potato for the vegetarians), four bases, and a myriad if toppings and sides. Everything I tried was solid quality, and the seared albacore special was awesome (seriously, I love some non-raw options). Great choices of sauces as well.

Bowls are affordable at $11-$12, but along with extra costs for additional sides and miss soup, the overall cost can bump up past "cheap". Two bowls came out to ~$29 dollars.

Would also love for them to be open until 9, 8 seems a bit early.

Overall, 5* place, and hope they work out some if the last...

Not observing COVID precautions!! I was in line with 2 other people in front of me, and the employees made us walk past each other over and over to make our food. So one person would stand in the back, the employee would start the order, make you leap frog the person in front of you to answer questions about sauce, go back to get proteins, leap frog again to get toppings... and one of the customers was absolutely hacking up a lung the whole time, so the employee made us walk past an OBVIOUSLY SICK customer repeatedly instead of waiting 2 minutes to move the order. I ordered a large portion, which comes with up to 3 proteins, but somehow I only received 2 tiny scoops of protein. I ordered a pre-set item and did not get all of the toppings listed in the description, and I was trying so hard to stay away from their sick customer that I didn't get to add what I wanted. So, this was my last trip to this store. The employees don't make good decisions and the value...

I have ordered from Just Poke a few times now. They have messed up my order more than three times and I’m finally just going to leave a review about it. I ordered the dynamite bowl and asked for the sauce to be on the side. They instead mixed the sauce in which makes it pretty difficult to eat. I want the spice but I want to be able to add it and I’m not given that option when they disregard my note/option to add it on the side. They also have the image of the dynamite bowl showing edamame and onions with the meal. The description does not show edamame or onions as the person indicted to me over the phone. I still believe it is misleading. Especially when all their other bowls have the description and the image matching. The individual on the phone was not offering any solution but just being more combative to my concerns. I get they need to check the order but even when he knew they messed up with the sauce, all that was said was sorry.
