I think that this may be one of the better bubble tea spots in Seattle.
First off, I absolutely love the name! When my friend was first telling me about this place I was really confused because I thought they were actually telling me to stop yelling.
Anyways, I ordered the mango smoothie with cheese foam on top, and boba. I like how they use real, fresh fruit because not many places use fresh fruit and can make a delicious drink with it as well! I wasn't a big fan of the fresh mango cubes in the drink because they were bland and had an akward texture, but the drink itself was super delicious and refreshing. The boba was actually so tasty, some of the best tasting boba I have ever had, and they were nice and chewy just how I like it!
I also loved the interior of this place as well. It is easily the nicest place on the whole street because it is super modern and super clean inside. Plus I really dig the vibe in there because it's pretty chill and relaxing and I can't get over the modern and minimalist interior.
All the workers seemed really nice and chill too, and the lady who took our order was really sweet and nice.
I am glad I finally got the chance to try this place out because ever since my friend told me about it, I have been wanting to try it but I couldn't because I was on vacation. I will definitely come back soon to try some of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve visited āDonāt Yell At Meā a couple of times and tried a variety of drinks. Uji Matcha Smoothie with Cream Cheese The matcha-to-milk ratio was spot onānicely balanced and easy to drink. The cream cheese topping was saltier than usual, which might surprise some, but the amount was well portioned. The strawberries werenāt sweet, which was a bit of a letdown, but overall the drink still had a good base. 2.Brown Sugar Milk Tea Loved the chewy texture of the boba. The drink itself leaned more on the sweet side and couldāve used a stronger tea flavor to round it out, but itās a decent pick if you prefer milder teas. Lychee Tea My friend tried this one on our second visit. It reminded us of canned lycheeānot super fresh (I didnāt quite like it), but if you're into that nostalgic flavor, you might enjoy it. Mango Tea Probably my favorite out of the bunch. It tasted fresh, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. Super refreshing and definitely a solid choice. CrĆØme BrĆ»lĆ©e Tea This one didnāt quite hit the mark for me. It was kind of disappointing. The drink was overly rich and greasy, probably due to the heavy cream. Plus, they didnāt do the sugar torching on top, which was what I was most...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMost likely the best boba spot on the Ave if you prefer tea flavors. The ratio of tea to milk or creamer here is much higher than other places. That being said, it's also on the pricier end of spots around the area and in Washington. Don't Yell At Me has been one of my top spots since they opened, but it pains me when I look at the price, so I do avoid coming here all the time. Most drinks tend to be aesthetic in some way which is also cool.
What's great and separates this spot is not only their drink offerings, but their toppings. You don't get the extensive jellies and pudding, but you get two choices of boba between brown sugar and golden, as well as taro balls. Most other places commit to one type of boba (i.e. golden at Ding, brown sugar elsewhere). When they first opened, I was also able to get half and half without any additional charge. I haven't done that since, so I'm not sure if this is still a possibility. Opt for golden boba if you like to chew more and brown sugar otherwise. Both tend to have some sustenance in flavor. If you want something more unique, the taro balls are great - very mochi like in texture and aren't necessarily sweet but rather have more of the sweet...
