We sat outside in the patio as it was sunny and the weather was pleasant. The service was great, as our waitress was friendly and engaging.
I ordered the California Burrito with grilled chicken, as I wasn't sure what else to order. My friend had the enchiladas poblanas.
When our food was dropped off, I noticed my burrito was cut in half and it was sitting on a bunch of aged lettuce. No big deal, it appeared this was the intent. Because it was cut in half, it was immediately visible the burrito was 80% beans, 10% lettuce filling, 5% cream 3% flour tortilla and three small strips of chicken. I would have taken a picture, but then the accusations of manipulating the photos would fly in immediately.
It's extremely disappointing for several reasons, one, it was the first time I've gone out to eat to support my local restaurants only to be cheated. Two, please advertise that you will be serving a burrito in the form of a wrap before someone expecting to eat a burrito ends up with a lettuce wrap. Three, you're already making 100% profit on the menu item, you may as well throw in some meat like it's advertised.
Sometimes, it's best not to complain to the wait staff as they are are not there ones making the food and I really didn't want my food to be going back and forth across the entire restaurant, further exposing it to airborne junk. I instead decided to post my experience here so that others may not get the short end of the stick. Or simply tell them to avoid ordering the California Burrito.
Again, the service was great, the food,...
Read moreThe service was amazing! I can’t even begin to explain how kind and helpful the service was! Miguel and Jaime were very attentive, kind, funny, and friendly. They even went over the top with giving our kids (Delicious) Macarons and a to-go margarita to us. And the food was also exceptional. We ordered nachos that were very flavourful and asked for hot sauce on the side. They went above and beyond and brought out a whole smorgasbord of local, and whole made hot sauces. Needless to say, the hot sauces were great. But the nachos were even better with a white cheddar cheese pull that probably could have gone a mile. We also ordered fajitas. They came hot, Smokey, and delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and plus we got a nice view of a pretty area because they let us choose where we ate and we chose to sit outside. Now we get to the little details that made it one of the greatest places I have ever gone to. First, the consistent cold, (Oddly enough) really great water kept coming. Also, the drinks like horchata, sangria, and margarita were delicious.
In conclusion, the service WAS THE GREATEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. They were so great, if I haven’t said it enough. The food was also great and it was SOME OF THE GREATEST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. And to sum it up in 3 words, JUST GO...
Read moreI ordered through Uber Eats and I enjoyed watching my food being delivered through the app.
I ordered chicken fajitas and steak fajitas with chips and salsa and all I got to say is I am stuffed.
There is only one restaurant that I recommend people try but it’s in Wisconsin and it is called La Fogata. This would be Seattle’s version of La Fogata. That’s a bit of a stretch. But this was really good.
The steak was tender and that’s what I liked. It had a lot of flavor than the rice and beans. Oh my gosh, where do I begin? The beans were really good what I like to do is I like to get a scoop of beans and let my rice stick to the beans and just eat it like that.
The Uber Eats delivery guy was really chill and I had to tip this guy because he was very respectable.
We were looking for a lot of Mexican restaurants on the Fourth of July to eat at in Seattle but a lot of them did not deliver or they were closed and besides, it’s the Fourth of July, what would the Fourth of July be without authentic Mexican food along with barbecue, ribs hotdogs, Pizza, corn on the Cobb?
The food was good. I would recommend people start off small because their fajitas definitely will fill you up and keep you full throughout the day you would definitely have to...
