We experienced 5-star service during our recent stay, and my wife and I were truly amazed by our time at this hotel. Every single staff member was not only polite but also highly professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere. A special mention is due to Yesenia Molina, the Director of Housekeeping, who went above and beyond to help us. We accidentally left our daughter's iPad Air in the room, and Yesenia managed to not only locate it but also arranged for its safe return to us. Her exceptional effort deserves special recognition. We are thrilled to have found a place that feels like a home away from home, especially as our daughter attends UW. This hotel has now become our preferred choice for accommodations in the area. Additionally, here are some key points to note from our stay: Fantastic Gym Facilities: The gym facilities were outstanding, impressively well-maintained, and equipped with a range of options, including cardio equipment, weights, NordicTrack exercise equipment, and dumbbells up to 55 lbs. This is a definite highlight for fitness enthusiasts. Clean and Refreshing Rooms: Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and fresh scent, reminiscent of bleach. It's a welcoming and reassuring sign of the hotel's commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Convenient Access to Outlets: The availability of numerous power outlets in the room was a practical and appreciated feature. It made charging our devices effortless and convenient, which greatly improved our stay. Shower Water Pressure: One aspect that could see improvement was the water pressure in the shower. Typically, a strong, invigorating shower experience is expected in hotels, and this is an area where some enhancements could be made. Unique Fitness Amenities: A distinctive and enjoyable feature of our room was the inclusion of stretchy bands and yoga mats. My wife made use of these daily, appreciating the option for in-room workouts. In summary, our experience at this hotel was superb, with exceptional service and several highlights, such as the well-maintained gym, clean rooms, and thoughtful room amenities. While there is room for improvement in the shower water pressure, these are minor considerations compared to the overall positive impression this hotel left on us. We look forward to future stays at our newfound "home away from home."

Check-In: June 22, 2025 Check-out: June 23, 2025 Room: 520 (2 queen beds) ## The Good **Early Check-In Success:** Was able to check in at 12:30 PM without issues, which was appreciated for an early arrival. **Unique Room Amenities:** As my first stay at an Even Hotel, I was impressed by the in-room exercise equipment - apparently this is standard across all Even Hotel properties. This is a fantastic differentiator for health-conscious travelers. **Room Quality:** Room 520 was well-appointed with two queen beds and a clean, modern design. The bathroom featured a stand-up shower (no bathtub), which worked fine for our needs though families with young children might prefer a tub option. **Helpful Front Desk (Day 1):** The front desk employee on check-in day was extremely helpful, waiving the $45/day parking fee since we were returning our rental car the same evening. This kind of flexibility and customer service was much appreciated. ## The Not-So-Good **Shuttle Service Disappointment:** We signed up for the cruise port shuttle service ($12/person to the ports), but the execution was poor. On June 23, we waited in the Staybridge Suites lobby (the attached sister property) with no clear direction or communication about the shuttle. After waiting with no shuttle in sight, we had to take a Lyft to Pier 91 to avoid being late for our cruise check-in. **Inconsistent Staff Knowledge:** The front desk employee on June 23 seemed overwhelmed and lacked knowledge about hotel services. The property appeared understaffed, which affected service quality. **Confusing Layout:** The connection to Staybridge Suites created some confusion, especially regarding where to wait for the shuttle service. ## Overall Thoughts The Even Hotel brand has great potential with its fitness-focused amenities and modern rooms. The early check-in and parking fee waiver showed good customer service flexibility. However, the shuttle service failure and staffing issues on departure day were significant disappointments, especially for travelers with time-sensitive connections like cruise departures. **Would I stay again?** Possibly, but I’d verify shuttle services in advance and have backup transportation plans. **Best for:** Business travelers and fitness enthusiasts who appreciate in-room workout equipment and don’t rely heavily on hotel shuttle services.

I really liked this place for what I needed it for, a place to sleep for a night. It was a beautiful hotel but beyond that there were several issues. First, the walls are so thin, you can hear what your neighbors are doing at all times. I’ve never been in a hotel that was this loud. Second issue, the credit card charge for incidentals. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. I was unprepared to spend an extra 75$ on my trip and thankfully I had travel partners because the extra for incidentals and parking took ALL of the money I had budgeted for food and gas home. That money still hasn’t made it back to my bank, which wouldn’t impact some people but for me, that’s my money I live off of. The worst is the parking. 45$ for an underground parking structure that has barely any room to park cars. At one point I had to climb out my trunk because of how small the spots were. When we came back from our event at 2 am there were no spots left. So I parked in the alley and they essentially told me to park elsewhere and they’d refund the money. But I couldn’t pay for parking anywhere else because the refunded money still wasn’t in my account. Great hotel if extra expenses won’t affect your bottom line and ruin your one day trip you planned for months and if you like struggling to find parking.

I was at this hotel the beginning of last month so this is a late review but I need you guys to know that you have or had a very staff that helped me. I don’t know his name but the day I checked in the guy that helped me wore a mask on Feb 3. There were two guys helping because there was a few of us here for our job training. The other guy was doing a good job helping and informing the people he was helping so I was excited to hear about the hotel I was staying in a city I had never been. Only to be disappointed and disrespected by the dude that helped me. He barely even said anything to me after I greeted him. All he did was take my card, quiet for the entire time and then simply handed me my keycard. I was confused as to why he didn’t even bother to explain anything about the hotel. When I then asked about breakfast or how to even get to my room, he stared at me like I was a homeless person asking for his last spare change. I had to get the information I needed from my colleges at the hotel because the staff that was supposed to help me didn’t think I was worth helping and even the lady that came at the very end of our interaction was the same. I’m not sure if he just hates his job and wants everyone to be miserable as well but that’s not someone that should be working in customer service if he treats everyone like that. Unless he just singled me out specifically. I have been at a few other hotels since then and they have all been nice which is why I’m here writing a review so long after I’ve been there, it upset me again thinking about it so I had to come on here and leave a review.

The only person that did help me was Kristen at the bar who made my experience a little better and she had me leave a review for her service which was amazing but I gave her 4 instead of a 5 because of that experience. Her customer service was definitely a 5!

She’s the reason I’m giving a 2...
