Crafted twists on homestyle favorites & a solid staff make a pleasant, ease-into-the-rest-of-the-day experience. We arrived at 5pm on a Friday, just as Lottie's was starting to get the evening crowd. We weren't drinking today, so the bartender made us bar lemonades that were perfectly sweet-tart! I ordered a turkey, bacon, lettuce, herbed chevre & caramelized onion sandwich with a generous Caesar side salad, and my partner got the bacon mac & cheese, also with a generous Caesar side. The Caesar dressing was very creamy & brought a garlic punch to the plate, delicious... The caramelized onions took the turkey sandwich to the next level, and we enjoyed the fragrance of the onions, too. The bacon mac - with added bacon on top, because sometimes bacon isn't enough bacon ;) - had a light & supportively flavorful cheese sauce that kept the dish from being too heavy, and chopped bacon is well blended into the pasta. The grilled cheese with turkey and tomato had me salivating and was the main reason why I kept on coming back. This bar has such an overall chill vibe to it that whenever I walked in, I'd immediately feel at ease---and then would make a bee-line to the couch and sofa they had...
Read moreGreat atmosphere and nice cocktails! Three of us spent a few hours here on a Wednesday night. It wasn’t too busy, but definitely wasn’t empty. There was a cute little sectional in the corner to lounge in, as well as plenty of other seating inside and out on the patio. Bartender was great; I’m pretty sure they were working alone and nobody waited long for their drinks. Cocktail menu had plenty of fun options in addition to a gin and tonic menu that I assume to be seasonal. We tried a few things and were happy with everything; I remember most drinks being around $13 or so. Very homey, seemed like a lot of people from the neighborhood knew each other. Will definitely...
