THE BEST COFFEE IN SEATTLE I look forward to my coffee every morning at Monorail Espresso on Pike Street in Seattle! I highly recommend this gem to both Seattle locals and travelers exploring the city. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of downtown Seattle and just across from the Seattle Convention Center.

What sets Monorail Espresso apart is not just its prime location but also the premium coffee they serve. The coffee is top-notch, and as a coffee enthusiast, I was thoroughly impressed. They take their craft seriously and it shows in every sip. I will make excuses on the weekend to come downtown to get this coffee, it’s that good.

Moreover, the personalized service here is exceptional. The Teada, Jessie, Kait and the team are friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular from the moment you walk up. It's evident that they care about their customers and take pride in providing excellent service.

A bit of history adds to the charm of this place. Monorail Espresso has a rich history, starting as a tiny kiosk back in 1980. Over the years, it has grown into a beloved local institution known for its commitment to quality coffee and warm hospitality. They also have locations on Westlake near Amazon, 4th Avenue, Columbia and a new spot coming to the Seattle Convention Center soon.

Whether you're a Seattle local looking for your daily caffeine fix or a traveler exploring the city, don't miss the chance to experience Monorail Espresso on Pike Street. It's a true Seattle treasure that combines great coffee, a convenient location, and a welcoming atmosphere. You won't be...

Monorail Espresso - A Beacon of Warmth in Downtown Seattle If you're in Seattle and looking for more than just a caffeine fix, Monorail Espresso is the place to go. With multiple locations nestled in the heart of downtown, this gem has become my favorite spot, especially during the challenging times we've all faced in recent years.

Monorail Espresso has been a constant source of comfort and energy. Throughout the long, quiet months when downtown was nearly deserted, their stands stood open, and their baristas continued to serve with a smile. They provided more than just coffee; they offered a sense of normalcy and connection that was deeply needed.

Their friendly faces and warm interactions make every visit special. Whether you're a regular or a newcomer, you're greeted with genuine kindness that makes you feel welcome and appreciated. It's this unique blend of excellent coffee and heartfelt service that sets Monorail Espresso apart.

As we all step back into the hustle and bustle of daily life, Monorail Espresso stands as a beacon of hope and community. I'm incredibly thankful for their presence and the joy they bring to each day. If you haven't experienced it yet, do yourself a favor and drop by. You'll find more than just a cup of coffee; you'll find good, strong coffee and good, kind people that make you...

I've worked in the building almost a year.. how have I not reviewed this place? I absolutely adore monorail. It's more than just coffee, they have their customer service and efficiency fine tuned. here's why I love' em The baristas have the smoothest production rhythm I have ever seen and know your order after the first few times. -Deals on day old pastries -Delicious chubby cookies -Ellenos yogurt amazing quality of the coffee itself and creative specials -They let you indulge in creativity (maple cardamom latte anyone?) They are the type of folks that even when you show up right at 4 at closing and have turned off the espresso machine will make you a maple cinnamon cold brew : )

To be as efficient as they are without a tech driven order ahead system is nothing shy of...

This is by far my favorite coffee stop in the area. Keep in mind there is a shop in city hall, a Starbucks in the same building as Monorail and another SB across the street. The baristas that work here are personable. Actually talk to you, rather than just take an order and ignore. My go to is always a Cortado which is near perfect every-time. I have never heard a complaint from anyone I go with who gets other beverages. If you work in the Columbia tower, no reason to go anywhere else. Yes, there is sometimes a long line, but it’s magical how fast they get through it. Not sure about other locations, but I can’t imagine they beat this spot.

Before I found monorail espresso I was set on the fact that even though I live in seattle the coffee scene it just terrible. Monorail is a truly in my opinion the best coffee in the city. I stop by the one on westlake almost daily. Today I decided to stop by the Columbia tower and met Jessie and let me tell you the service and coffee is just as fantastic as the west lake location. There’s nothing like walking up to your favorite coffee place half awake in the morning and not having to worry about your order because the barista already knows what I want. Monorail is truly a shining star here in seattle.
