Extremely rude bartender who seemed impatient with us the moment we asked whether we order at the bar or the table. They were perhaps a little too happy to chat up our friend to an extent that it made her quite uncomfortable. But hey, at least she got her drink, which brings me to my next item.
It took us forever to get any service. After we ordered, we had waited at least 30 minutes for four cocktails that we never got. They completely forgot about us, which was surprising given that there were hardly any others in the establishment. This was reinforced by the fact that there were at least three servers standing behind the bar goofing off and laughing.
Someone else did come over once after we ordered to ask if we needed anything. We responded with "we're just waiting on our drinks", which was met with a curt "oh. okay." then they simply walked out of our lives forever.
When we tried to pay for that one and only drink, the bartender was quite rude to us when we made our grievances known. At that point, we just wanted to get out of there.
Lastly, and this is more nitpicky, but the atmosphere sucked. I didn't expect a place that looked this chilled out and relaxed to have earth-shattering bass exploding from the walls to the point I couldn't have a conversation with my friends IN AN EMPTY RESTAURANT.
Absolutely blown away by the fact that this bar appears on so many "best of Ballard" lists. I'm sorry to say it was the worst drinking/dining experience I've had living...
Read morePercy's & Co is good, but falls a bit short of great. We recently visited on a Saturday night and the restaurant was completely full, save one shared picnic table in a far back brick-patio-style room of the restaurant. Our server was friendly, attentive, and good with suggestions. Our drinks, both with complex descriptions that are difficult to remember, were reasonably satisfying and refreshing. We also ordered sausage gumbo, which had something of a homemade flavor. Perhaps the most significant barrier to enjoying our experience was the crowd. The restaurant was overrun with loud, obnoxious, over-served patrons - a circumstance that the restaurant could hardly avoid. Percy's & Co appeals specifically to the most vapid and least graceful of a young generation who will throw cash smelling of IPAs at any offerings advertised as organic and local - think instagram hipsters wearing hand-made organic wool scarves whilst riding with noses high on rusty Schwinn Aerocycles to the farmers market for "locally grown" cucumbers in January. Anyway, if you're still reading and you like being shoved, pushed and deafened by patrons falling over themselves and your drinks to take sloppy selfies - then you will surely enjoy the beverages and service at Percy's. Percy's is recommended, with that sole...

The staff is awful. You’ll see that not just in this review but in others.
I actually had a nice experience before the cashier started acting insane. The waiter wasn’t attentive and disappeared a lot. But I was with nice people so it was fun.
Based on what I was told after, I may have actually paid for someone else’s tab. It was much more than we ordered. But I paid it without seeing a bill and without question. I didn’t argue or even ask about it.
When I walked up to the cashier to pay, no bill in hand and no idea who the server was, they were incredibly disrespectful and aggressive so I said no tip and walked out.
I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so negatively when I walked up to pay, but after I said no tip based on the cashiers treatment of us, they doubled down and were more disrespectful.
It was honestly nuts. I have no idea why they were so disrespectful. As noted, I left the restaurant and stood outside away from the door. They then walked out and literally screamed at us to leave a public space, a side walk. Three of them were there. One of my friends was concerned they were going to assault us,
This is the rudest place I’ve ever been. The...
